Wish I'd kept my crappy protable CD player, I don't fancy taking an ipod or anything, and Download radio won't play any emo >_>

Local band Blakfish, who I know, are playing the Nokia stage. 1 on Saturday? I think. Dunno if I'll go see 'em.

May be worth printing them lads, because we're probably not gonna get the festival info/stage times thing this year. =/

They're on about going Green. So they're like "We wont kill trees. We'll bluetooth the programs to your phone!" And it's like.. What..? That's ridiculous.

Although sending stuff via Bluetooth at Download just isn't going to work, simply texting it would be better.

And no, it's ridiculous. Not everyone has bluetooth phones, not everyone would have the space, and it's not as if a phone is gonna last wednesday to monday anyway, let alone having to send stuff via bluetooth.

Thaat's so gay. There has to be a programme, even if there aren't lanyards, surely. I still have my lanyards from 04 and 05. And probably programmes if I dig around a bit.

I just checked the lineup again... Saturday is really piss-poor, from my point of view. Bloodstock seems to have been the better choice after all. Seriously, there are 4 bands I'd want to see, and they're all on the main stage. Friday is decent, and Sunday is brilliant, but Saturday would be boring.

Bloodsimple, Crue, Head Automatica, Turisas, HellYeah, 30 Seconds, B4S, Machine Head, Slayer, Manson, LP.

Plenty good bands on Saturday.

Turisas are immense. I know it's been said before, but it bears repeating.

Head Automatica will be interesting, but I think they clash with Linkin Park. I want to see LP, but if their new stuff is lame, I'll probably mooch on over to the second stage.

I don't like Bloodsimple. I do like Shadows Fall, a lot.

They were ok, but I didnt like the album I downloaded. Trivium rawked, and it was awesome that they had to repair the carpet and shit after the circle pit ruined it.
