I think I've narrowed down my choices to one of the following, all I need to know is your opinions;

Trigun

Gungrave

Heat Guy J

Obviously we all know that by the end, I'm going to have been influenced into a choice that isn't even there - but there all similar genre from what I've learned, so any positives and negatives on the animes would be great help. Thanks.

The main problem for me with Trigun is theres so many, so it's more money ¬_¬

Even the first couple of volumes of Trigun is a more worthwhile viewing experience than both of those other two in their entirity.

I can't comment on Gungrave and Heat Guy J because I haven't seen them, but trust me, if you decide to go with Trigun you won't be disappointed. It's that good.

I've watched the first 12 episodes of Heat Guy J, and it's a very good show. Animation is beautiful, and the show has a really good dub track.

Just looking more for an order to get them in, i've heard good stuff about them all.

Because Gungrave is the sort of anime where you find yourself cursing whenever you reach the episode halfway point, ala "cock, there's still just as much to go? I'd hoped it would be nearly over".

Admittedly I haven't seen the other two beyond one episode of Heat Guy J, but I can HEAVILY vouch for Trigun. Very, very, very very very good.

Haven't seen the series, but the original OVA is awesome.

Out of the list I'd say Trigun.

I hear the OVA for Read or Die was better than the series.

Do not buy this, but you deffinatly check into renting it or downloading it. Check out the first volume of Baki the Grappler. You will never find an anime with a higher degree of testosterone than Baki the Grappler.
