I like the idea of it, it'll probably consist of easy songs that would now be considered too easy for the Rock Band games, but still pose a challenge to up and comers.

Much like the early songs in Rock Band 1... that were far too easy for the guy passing Visions on extreme <_<

It'll probably be exportable or something, if not now, then in the near future.

I can't believe they're actually making a Lego Rock Band. Is this the next step, instead of making fun co-op platformers from long-running franchises, they're now going to make Lego versions of games that are already out? Can't wait for Lego GTA.

...actually, I hope they really do make a Lego GTA. But Lego Rock Band sounds ridiculous.

I love Song 2. I'll always remember it for being the intro for FIFA 98:RTWC (the best FIFA ever).

If I'd have called the next Lego game, I would've thought Harry Potter would be a strong contender.

Too right. I need to bust that again sometime.

Lego Rock Band seems...unnecessary, but like I said to Maxx, if the tracklist is good, who cares, right?

"LEGO-themed rock challenges: Play killer riffs to destroy a giant robot, summon a storm, and demolish a skyscraper using the power of rock!"

Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?

Blue Oyster Cult - Godzilla?

Styx - Mr Roboto?

:D :D :D :D :D

EDIT: And apparently it supports content download too!

Here's the SOURCE BTW

I wonder if they're not better off just not bothering some weeks.

They're a pretty influential band, and Nothing's Shocking is a 90's classic, from what I'm told... so I don't mind that it's being released.

Jane Says is a fun song.

I really like Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro both... but for some reason, never really got into the band.

Yay Rock Band 2 got to me through the post on Friday (thankyou, last few pieces of package are being gathered up tomorrow!) and I'd tried not too look TOO closely at the track listings cos the main reason for getting it was the better solo career and so I could play downloaded songs.

So anyway what has made me mark out so far?

The art student shooting a psychadelic 60s style video (very groovy baby).

Arriving into a new gig venue to see that I could play "Psycho Killer" by Talking Heads (probably the biggest mark out so far weirdly).

SPRODE! I love Freezepop and Sprode is just tasty (download I think).

Remembering how amazing "Today" by Smashing Pumpkins is.

Being surprised at how great "Hungry Like A Wolf" and "Livin' On A Prayer" are to play.

COOOOL FOR CAAAAAATS.

I'll admit I like the more mainstream pop/rock stuff. Livin' on a prayer is immense. The guitar solo and hitting that last note in particular when you have the TV on a really high volume is awesome.

Any suggestions for fun DLC songs to play on guitar? DLC up to now is basically Oasis, Journey, FOB, Chillis and a couple other bits and pieces.
