If you feel like trying out My Dying Bride for some reason, give a listen to The Call Of Mankind. Most depressing song ever. Makes you want to slit your wrists.

Khanate and Peste Noire would beg to disagree the fuck out of your face.

Earth too. There's something depressing as hell about drone doom.

Yeah, check out some Cathedral. I'll also throw in some Paradise Lost and Anathema.

Although Paradise Lost's stint as the Doom Depeche Mode is actually pretty good.

Since I've really been into these guys at the moment, you might want to check out the band The End. Their album "Elementary" is awesome.

If we're gonna plug bands, then I'll say listen to these guys. They're local, and I saw them live. The crowd lit up for them moreso than Cradle of Filth (the tickets were free ) and 3 Inches of Blood.

Not at all. I'm just saying that with a name like Drone Doom, why would you expect it to be anything other than depressing? ¬_¬

It's not called Smiley Happy Bunny Metal
