Testament will be getting a 2 hour set (or so I've heard) so that's enough reason for me to go...but Epica, Arch Enemy, Benediction, Dream Evil and In Flames is enough reason for me to stay the weekend. Still a lot more announcements to come and it's already looking better than Download.

Arch Enemy are godawful. In Flames are fucking awesome however. Nothing there really leaps out at me as something I'd go and see, but I've a few mates who've been before and they reckon it's class.

Arch Enemy? Awful? What now? Granted they're not for everybody, but they're awesome and you'd be hard-pressed finding a better modern metal guitarist than Michael Amott.

And yeah, I'm not a big fan of Arch Enemy. Seriously, Gossow isn't that good, plus her vocals seem often enhanced/altered somewhat on CD. The music is fine, but I can't get past her.

I'm still annoyed that they didn't have the common sense to put Korpiklaani on Saturday though Swap Legion of the Damned (or Sabbat) with Korpiklaani and it'd be even more awesome. But hey, I'm not exactly complaining
