I still find it incredible Bolton turned to Gary Megson. A guy who had half decent success at West Brom, but followed up with awful failure at Forest and in a short space of time left everyone at Leicester pretty ho-hum.

It's not even as if he's a cheap option, Bolton had to pay £300k compensation to Leicester. Madness.

Still, he'll probably end up being brilliant.

Jol's coaching career began in the Netherlands in 1991 when he took over at the amateur side ADO Den Haag and took them from the Third Division to the First Division. Jol then moved to Scheveningen for one season where he won the national non-league championship. Jol then spent two years at Roda JC during which time he won the Dutch cup (Roda's first trophy for 30 years). Between 1998 and 2004 Jol managed the Dutch professional team RKC Waalwijk where he saved them from relegation and was honoured as the Dutch Football Writers Coach of the Year in 2001 and Dutch Players and Coaches Coach of the Year in 2002. Manchester United spoke to Jol about becoming their assistant manager in 2003.[2]

Jol is great and I think he did wonders at Spurs. Considering Spurs hasn't won anything in years and still thinks they are a top club. They have bad management (ever since Arnesen left it went downhill again) and they buy players without asking Jol if he actually needs them. Jol signed Moniz as a trainer for Tottenham's youth and they are using the Wiel Coerver-method, named after a former Dutch coach, it's one of the most if not the most succesfull method to making players better on the ball instead of focusing only on the physical side of football, so he got the youth academy back on track He managed to reach UEFA Cup two years in a row. Management just wanted Ramos for some strange reason 'cause they could've easily let Jol make everything work again.
