Recommend me music!

Recommended Posts

Ok, theres a few bands that I've heard songs of recently that I really like. But I want to know more of their songs so if people can recommend me song songs from these bands it would be great.

1. Metallica (apart from fight with fire, nothing else matters and one)

2. Sum 41 (apart from In Too Deep, Motivation and Fat Lip)

3. Hawthorne Heights (apart from Saying Sorry)

4. My Chemical Romance (but nothing on the Black Parade album, the You Bought Me Your Bullets album, Helena and I'm not okay)

5. Billy Talent (apart from Surrender)

I have a really diverse taste in rock music.

Thanks in advance.

Anything from A Hangover You Don't Deserve by Bowling For Soup is superb.

Especially; Almost, Ohio (Come Back To Texas), Last Call Casualty, Next Ex-Girlfriend & My Home Town.

The whole album is worth getting, though.

As for 'tallica, get S&M. Superb live album.

I'd prefer individual songs. Since I'm a bit tight on money ATM so youtube videos are where I'm listening to my music currently. Although I'll probably end up buying most of these albums at some point. And I'm extremely thankful for the Bowling For Soup stuff because my friend asked my if I liked Bowling For Soup and I said yes (because I like what i know) and she got us concert tickets.

There's way too much Metallica for me to list that I'd reccomend.

Rock up some songs like; Master Of Puppets, Welcome Home, Enter Sandman, I Dissapear, For Whom The Bell Tolls, The Unforgiven, The Unforgiven II, Sad But True, Fuel, Whiskey In The Jar, St. Anger, No Leaf Clover.

Should do ya for now. :P

Hawthorne Heights: Niki FM, The Transition, Blue Burns Orange, Silver Bullet, Ohio is for Lovers from their first album; "The Silence in Black and White"

Billy Talent: Voices of Violence, The Ex, River Below, Devil in a Midnight Mass - in fact, just get both albums and listen to it all, it's all great.

I'm a huge HIM fan so here are the tracks I'd recommend:

Pretty much the whole Razorblade Romance album

Heartache Every Moment

In Joy And Sorrow (Particularly the string version on Uneasy Listening Vol. 1)

Wings Of A Butterfly

Play Dead

The Cage (only on limited edition copies of Dark Light so go download it)

Passion's Killing Floor (from their new unreleased album but it's on the Transformers soundtrack)

I'm sure there's more because it's hard to narrow down.

Also, another band I've been digging a lot of recently is Dir en grey, a Japanese metal band. They only have two albums released in the States: "Withering To Death" and "The Marrow of a Bone". You really can't go wrong with buying the first one but some notable tracks are Saku, C, The Final, Merciless Cult and Kodou. I didn't enjoy "Marrow" quite as much but it's still good, just not as great as "Withering". Their earlier stuff is pretty good as well but I can only really wholeheartedly recommend "Vulgar", their album right before "Withering".
