I've only listened to the itunes 30 second previews of it. Some of it sounds alright but there seems to be a lot of rubbish.

It seems to have received generally terrible reviews from the critics.

I honestly cannot think of a single solo John Lennon cover I have ever enjoyed. I'm marginally interested in Matisyahu covering "Watching the Wheels," but everything else I could do without.

I saw this in HMV and nearly did a sick in my mouth. Kravitz covering Cold Turkey? As in, the Cold Turkey, the best John Lennon this side of "Mother" which, incidentally, will probably be massacred by Aguilera? No thanks. If Kravitz inserts a guitar solo, overblown production, or just about anything into that two-chord screamy wonder, then I'll be annoyed. It's pretty much a perfect song, no need to mess with it.

Oh, and nothing with Jakob Dylan on it is ever worth buying.
