All Matzat said was that it wasn't an international bestseller, which it clearly isn't.

No he didn't, he said "they do good for what they expected" - really? Without knowing the sales OR what we expected, how the hell is that comment anything but a pile of crap? I'm not arguing that TEW is anywhere near Smackdown's league, I'm arguing that people shouldn't make sweeping assumptions and try to pass them off as fact.

Yes, but to be fair, I'm 99% sure that you thought it wouldn't be an international bestseller, so I think that Matzat's comment was relatively fair.

There's something I thought I'd never say.

Just look at TEW, great reviews on some major gaming sides, they do good for what they expected, but it’s not an international bestseller because it’s not what people are looking for (great GFX and Big Names)....

Uh....WTF? You can't possibly have even the faintest idea what TEW's sales are like, because we've never released any figures. All you're doing is making an enormous assumption and trying to pass it off as informed comment.

if PWX ever gets released it will byte them in the ass big-time... a hundred years dev and just a bunch of dorks buying it.

Ok, I'm just curious, for anyone who's actually played it since I'm not exactly sure how it works. How exactly can you create your own ring/logos all of that stuff that I'm reading about?

Do they have like a bunch of preselected options that you put together (Although I'm guessing no, since I've seen ROh, TNA, ECW etc rings) or is it a blank slate you have to do pixel by pixel? Or like an MSPaint mode or something?

And how easy would it be?

The last Firepro game I played was back on the SNES(or rather, a SNES emulator). What bothered me was that it had a lot of 'real' wrestlers, but they all looked only vaguely like the wrestler they were modeled after. A guy in black tights with a purple triangle on the side? that's Bret Hart. a guy with green tights and a funny squiggle of color on his face? that's Sting. Does anyone know if the modern incarnation of Firepro has better looking imitations of real wrestlers?

It looks awesome.

Has it been said when it comes out in North America?

Do you have to create the TNA/ROH/Indy rings, and how easy is it to do so?

Is there any kind of season/career deal?

I get the feeling that creating customized rings based on real promotions is going to be exceedingly difficult without a codebreaker or a max drive. The videos containing the TNA/ROH rings were probably taken from modded games running on a PC.

It's either going to be the last quarter of 2007 or Q1 2008, and the projected price is $19.99. If i'm not mistaken, yes, there is a career mode.
