As of this very moment, I'm going through a Jackson Browne and Peter Gabriel phase.

'Lawyers In Love' by Jackson Browne.

'In The Shape of a Heart' by Jacksone Browne

'Steam' by Peter Gabriel

'The Tower That Ate People' Peter Gabriel

'Lover, You Should've Come Over' Jeff Buckley

'It Never Rains In Souther California' Albert Hammond (for it is the last song played on Veronica Mars :()

TV on the Radio - "Blind"

It's so airy and lulling at times that it's really relaxing, and yet it is never a boring song to listen to. Good song from a solid EP (the Young Liars EP).

Kanye West - "Everything I Am"

Another one of the true grower tracks from Graduation. This one is probably the most introspective West is on the whole album, as well as fantastic use of a laid back piano sample.

Nine Black Alps - "Cosmopolitan"

Remembering the good things about video games past, this song was always the quintessential modern indie rock song to me (at least after Secret Machines' "Nowhere Again") and it's just bitingly catchy. Really awesome track.
