L.C.S., it's not that people are bored of anime style mafias, it's that, for once, the mafia genre as a whole is actually dying down. Granted that yeah, there's been like three anime mafias one after another, but I'm fairly certain that any mafia that gets started now, unless the person running it has really good name value, it'll die off quickly.

Exactly Gogo, but after Rukis diary i was hoping for a lift but the rest of the Mafias have been on the same subject and stopped people joining. We need a couple of Mafias that aren't Anime to create interest in MAfias again, I beleive.

It's had some steady games here and there for a few months now, but if you think about it, within the next few weeks with the trend it's taken, it's going to completely die out. Poor wording on my part, but that's what I was basically trying to say.

And L.C.S.: a couple of mafias that "aren't anime" won't create a new interest. Mafia games get stale over time, there needs to be some sort of a change to the game to create a new interest in it, and an influx of new ideas and games. The theme behind the game doesn't matter: we've had, what, three to four anime mafia games recently. They alone haven't killed off interest... they hardly impacted it, if anything, in my opinion.

I do agree with you: we need something new and different. But a new or different theme alone won't help: if we could figure out ways to make the game more addicting to those who play, it'd be perfect. The game used to be like that, but people have moved on, and so the game would do well to have a change that could appeal to everyone.

I agree, but my feeling is that if all the games continued to be Anime games, people would get slightly bored of it. That's really all i meant, I just wanted a change from Anime themed Mafias. Hence TV Mafia.

Oh, well of course that would be true, hell that would be true if every mafia was one specific theme no matter what.

I thought you'd meant that anime mafias in general were causing the problem, which wasn't the case: it was that there were so many of the same kind-of themed mafias out at once
