Recommend me some good horror/comedy.

Alright, so my mom won't buy me an Xbox 360 for Christmas because she has 3 other kids to buy for, so that's out of the question. The only other thing I like is movies, and I have no clue which to ask for. I'm into horror(Nothing before 1960) and comedy(same deal). My favorite movies in these genres are 40 Year Old Virgin, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Dazed and Confused, the Dead Series, Cabin Fever, the Saw Series, Halloween series and other stuff similar to those. It would really help if you guys gave me some titles which you think I'd like, with some sort of description along with it. Thanks.

Grindhouse (Planet Terror and Death Proof) = Best Movie(s?) Ever!

But it seems you like the new age comedies I hate, so I probably can't be of much help, plus your a Halloween fan, and I'm a Friday the 13th fan...actually there you go, buy every Friday the 13th (that included Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X and Freddy vs Jason) or all the Hellraisers.

In terms of horror movies, how many do you currently have, and what of?

Off hand, the Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street boxed sets would be tremendous... as would Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness if you can find them all on DVD in the same place.

That's an awesome horror movie site. Pretty much all the movies are dirt cheap and they have a lot of the rare ones.

I would definitely get all 3 Evil Deads, like Gabe said. Also, get Suspiria, Phenomena, Tenebre, Deep Red, and even Inferno. All of those are Dario Argento movies. If you've never seen an Argento film, you're missing out on some seriously good horror.

There's also movies like the Romero Zombie Quadrilogy: Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead. The Hellraiser series was tremendous. Stephen King's It and The Shining. The Exorcist and the Exorcist III. There is a 50 pack of classic horror movies and another 50 pack of Chilling Classics. Pretty much all 100 of those are quality movies especially for the price you'd be getting them (about 40 cents per movie). The 50 Horror Classics are all from before 1960 though.

I have hundreds of horror movies, so if you want more suggestions I can try to help.

Alright, so after looking around for a bit on Amazon, I discovered the following for a very cheap price:

- Chilling Classics 50 Movie Pack

- Horror Classics 50 Movie Pack

- Nightmare Worlds 50 Pack

And a few more box sets similar to these. I was wondering if anyone on this board could help me out by giving their reviews for these movie packs(If you've purchased them). All 3 are about $16 each, and Chilling Classics and Horror Classics is about $30 for the both of them together. I just want to know if these are worth the price, because after all, it is Christmas, I don't want to ask for something I won't like at all. I'll trust EWB's reviews on it(If I get any that is).

I also really love the 007 movies. The only one I own is The World Is Not Enough, which is one of my favorites(the theme song also kicks all kinds of ass). I haven't seen too many, but the Zellers down here has them for about 7 dollars per movie. Recommend me some of the best 007 movies.
