If this topic already exists then feel free to close, and i realise the spelling error in the title

Anyway I hear a few good bands are releasing albums in the coming few months including the long awaited Metallica album, and possibly Guns N Roses (If it ever actually happens). Just wondering what albums/artists you're looking forward to hearing this year.

We had several of these pop up over the course of a couple weeks at the end of December... no big deal though.

KMFDM's new release Brimborium came out today.

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are releasing the B-Sides from their Have a Ball album, on an album called Have Another Ball, in March.

April brings us the new Children of Bodom and, completely unrelated, new Jack's Mannequin. Both of which should kick copious amounts of ass.

May is loaded with new Dragonforce, Deathstars, Spookshow and Disturbed.

I just found out that Candlebox is releasing a new album in June.

Bleeding Through's "Declaration" comes out in August... as does the as-yet Untitled new album from Slipknot.

Trivium and Lacuna Coil are supposed to have new albums for September.

Then we have Metallica, Wednesday 13, Michale Graves, Static X, Motley Crue, Cradle of Filth, Son of Sam and my boys AFI releasing new stuff before the end of the year.

In summary, it's going to be a good year.

Oasis will release their next album this year after quite a wait, that's a highlight. Dirty Pretty Things have had their album put back to possibly after the summer after "mixing problems", that's probably joint #1 on my waiting list.

Also The Cribs have been working with Johnny Marr. Whether it's to produce a full album of just a few tracks it could/should be out sometime this year too. All three will be purchased upon release.

Death Cab For Cutie - are they recording or have I made that up??

Jacks Mannequin, Alkaline Trio, In Flames - the general stuff, y'know good music.

If JM release anything like they did last time it will be absolutely fantastic. Here's to hoping for a nice summer-y release for a summer-y album :)
