I adore this man. I bought my Mummy his CD for Mothers Day, but I am listening to it now like the cheeky swine that I am, and my word he is fantastic. Name a man alive today with a better voice and I'll name you King of the World.

You'll fail, mind; everyone knows Bublé is King of the World.

I have such a heterosexual mancrush right now.

He has a pretty slick cover of "Mack the Knife," though he goes a bit too far into "THIS IS A COVER OF A STANDARD, I'M GOING TO HAM IT UP."

His version of "I've Got the World on a String" fucking exudes cool, though. He can definitely swing.

If you look on Youtube, there's a really good cover of "Me And Mrs. Jones" he did live on some morning show. I think the song is on his new album.....which I got my mother for Christmas.

I actually have the video for "I'm Feeling Good" favorited on Youtube.

And GoGo is dead on about his version of "Mack The Knife", unfortunately.

Gee, thanks.

His cover of "Me and Mrs. Jones" is well-sung, though it lacks the awesome naivete of Billy Paul's original.

Mack The Knife happens to be one of my favorite songs, and Buble hamming it up kinda ruins the enjoyment.

Agreed. I have a tendency to seek out versions of the song as I too think it's one of the best songs of all time, and he does great until he gets to the referential parts where he starts to slip, and it really goes overboard when he attempts to imitate Louis Armstrong. He's got a great voice and great presence but I wish he'd never attempt scat, he tries too hard when he does it (it nearly ruins one of the Youtube videos of him doing "I've Got the World on a String" at one point).

Out of curiosity, which versions of the song do you prefer (and which have you heard, and all of that).
