Family Guy Spin Off

That's not the greatest of ideas. Of all the characters in Family Guy that could have a good spin-off series, I think I'd put Cleveland near the bottom of the list.

You could say the same of Frasier. If anything a relatively minor character can be fleshed out more to make it a bit different from the original, as opposed to a major character like Joey, which I will watch if I'm eating my tea, but other than that...

And if we're talking cartoon spin-offs, let's get on board with Chief Wiggum, P.I.

I'd love that, but I think a better idea would be a spin-off show called Springfield where they could focus more on the rest of the town. That way you could have a couple of episodes based on Chief Wiggum, some on Ned, etc. This way people wouldn't get bored with the mostly one dimensional characters.

What an awful idea. I can barely stand Cleveland as a bit-player as it is, let alone with a full show to himself. If they have to do one, Brian would be a far better choice. Sure, Cleveland isn't as one-dimensional as the rest of the cast, but that's not really saying much with a show like Family Guy.

If they need more animated shows, then what the hell is wrong with a new series of Futurama?

Well, The Simpsons was headed that way at one point itself, but instead they decided they wanted them having ridiculously OTT whacky features with as many celebs as they could grab, The Simpsons was at its best when it was almost normal situations with surreal happenings rather than the pile of steaming turd it is now.
