I need a way to regain my 'musical credibility' after the negativity in my last thread.

Anyway, I did the whole "favourite ever albums" thing a little while back, and I realised out of my top 5, 4 fall in 2003 or 1996. It's strange. So I started thinking what my favourite albums from each year would be, and seeing as I have fuck all to do today, I drew up some lists. So, here goes;

Wasn't as easy as I thought. 1978 was especially difficult. Van Halen's debut came out the same year as Rainbow's Long Live Rock'n'Roll and Judas Priest's Stained Class. That's tough. Could have gone either way. Priest still dominated late 70's.

80's I'll make into a top three per year because there was just so much more metal and rock that I liked.
