So, here we go again. Welcome to the second edition of the EWB Bookie. Pesci took the crown last year and will no doubt be looking to win it again. As will SNT, who took the Euro Bookie just as Ellis thought he'd won it. :shifty:

To clarify, this is NOT a sign-up thread. We've done that already and have 22 members this season. The full member list is below;

(c = Current Champion, e = Euro Bookie winner, BOLD = Bets made for current set)

The ONLY way anybody else will be able to join is if somebody else pulls out, or if I like you enough to let you in anyway.

"What are the rules?"

Well, we'll be using the Euro Bookie's scoring system, so everybody starts at 0 and will have free 20 credits to use each set of bets. You will now have a choice of 4 bets each week to choose from, as opposed to 5 last season. Don't be too disappointed though, as I'm doing it this way to hopefully make things harder, and even add some specials in for bet 4 more often than not.

"This is pretty much the same as the last bookie. Where's the big changes?"

I was toying with whether to include this or not, but thought "what the hell, it's something different" so it's going to be in. Basically, at the bottom of each set of bets this year will be a match from either the Premier League or The Championship, chosen by me. It's your job to predict that score correctly. Should you fail to do so, it's no big deal. But if you predict the score correctly, any credits you acquired over that particular set of bets will be doubled. So if you made 40 credits and got the score right, the 40 becomes 80.

The first set of bets (which will be outright betting) will probably go up tonight. First, I'll happily answer any questions you may have. I will say though, for those of you that are new, find the Euro 2008 Bookie thread to see how things work. It's pretty self explanatory once you've bet once.

baddar will win thats the only prodiction ill be makin

Bet 2

West Brom vs. Everton - West Brom 13/8, Draw 11/5, Everton 11/8

If the guys who failed to place bets in the last round fail to do so again in this, they'll be removed from the Bookie. As things stand, we have all 22 members still in-tact.

Remember, you don't need to put any credits on the doubler, you just need to give me the correct score.
