  1. Shields/Fitch? Would probably mean at least 6 months off for the winner of GSP/Kos, but I doubt Jake gets his shot straight away after that performance, and if Fitch wins, Dana might finally give him another shot.
  2. Yep. I was pleasantly surprised. I know he did Versus 2 (I think), but I wasn't expecting it.
  3. This has already gone four minutes longer than I thought it would. Easily Schaub's round though, ten more seconds and it would have been over.
  4. Efrain Escudero has been cut. Let me be the first to say, what the fuck?
  5. Except that wasn't what I did at all. What I meant was, in his sole fight outside UFC since his release, he had anxiety issues. Therefore, I personally feel that he should first have another fight outside UFC, where these issues don't flare up, to prove he's mentally ready for a return.
  6. Actually, he had bacon. And since when was speculation not allowed on the internet? Don't get me wrong, I've always liked Parisyan, I enjoy watching him fight, but to me, the best indicator of whether he's pulled himself together is the way he conducts himself in and around his fights. Since his release, he's had one fight, and a story reported on most MMA sites indicates that he didn't handle it particularly well from a mental standpoint. Judging from that, I don't think he's ready to be back in UFC. I like him, and I want to be wrong, but from the evidence I've seen/read, it's a premature rehiring. Oh, for the record, me jumping to conclusions would be making an outright, definitive statement along the lines of Karo being a fucking whackjob/on pills and shit, and that he should be nowhere near any kind of top-level MMA. I don't think that, nor did I say or imply that. I gave an opinion based on apparently reliable information, which I conceded may not be 100% accurate at any rate. Thanks for jumping down my throat about something I didn't even really do though, it's always nice to be lambasted for no reason.
  7. Dana said shortly after Karo's release that if he got himself together he would welcome him back. Don't remember reading that anywhere, and even if he did say that, the guy's had one fight since his release, which he supposedly had to get moved to the first fight of the night because he was having anxiety problems. Hardly what I'd call getting yourself together.
  8. Less than a year after he wasn't fighting at 106 or ever again in UFC? I welcome Paul Daley's return in spring.
  9. Muse out of the top 5, Frank Turner in, and Gaslight at number 1, awesome. However, by far the best thing about that list was The Menzingers. Chamberlain Waits is one of my favourite albums of the year.

  11. I want to, but a lack of money's conspiring against me at the minute. Jorge Rivera out, Gerald Harris in to face Sakara at 118.
  12. Trying to get 98-99 to work on Windows 7. No luck so far.
  13. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Edited. I always forget someone. Low Anthem are gone, I could never kick Marina out.

  15. I thought it was slightly heavy on the new stuff (everything but Old Haunts and We Did It When We Were Young), but since the album's been out just over a week, it's to be expected. Only Drive and We Came To Dance from SOS. Still, great show. Also, Glasgow can go fuck itself, apparently they got "We're Getting A Divorce..."
  16. Leatherface on Emmerdale. Glorious.
  17. If you remove the picture and the shifty, my previous post is still valid.
  18. I'm in full support of Villa holding out for 40m, I think City might just pay it, and we've got a sell-on clause, so we could actually have some kind of transfer budget if he goes for a massive amount.
  19. Oh, come on, man. Coloccini's is genius, but nothing beats the new Andy Carroll one. HE SHOOTS HE SCORES HE'LL BREAK YOUR FUCKING JAWS ANDY CARROLL
  20. Six hours' gap between the scheduled end of GSP/Hardy and kickoff for Burnley/Blackburn, surely that's ample sleeping time? Unless you have a ticket to the latter, of course. Not sure if I'll be watching it, personally. I need to be up at 9, and if I go out tomorrow night, it won't happen. If I stay in, I'll have an early night and wake back up for it, otherwise I'll be watching Sunday afternoon, spoiler-free.
  21. Saw Chuck at a free show he did after the Leeds gig on Thursday, and I was talking to him afterwards, he told me he'd been writing with Brian for an album, so I'd say it's looking more like being a collaborative one. I could be entirely wrong though, but the most important thing to come out of all this is that Chuck Ragan hugged me.
  22. Yeah, this is a fucking amazing album. So good, I've pre-ordered it.
  23. I'm sure I'd find a way to conduct a live broadcast.
  24. I'm 50/50 on whether to do this, or stay in Leeds that weekend and do Slam Dunk and Marina. Sunday doesn't really hold much interest for me, and most of the Monday stuff I'd like to see, I've seen quite recently, or have plans to see soon (Delphic, Slow Club, Frankmusik, Ellie Goulding). There's only really De La Soul and Dananananananananananananaykroyd that I'd be interested in that I won't be seeing in the near future otherwise.
