I don't want to clutter the draft thread with questions, but return TDs are counted for DSTs rather than the returner, right?

I believe so, but hopefully Hester helps actually change that soon. I never saw the reason you pick a Defense/Special Teams as opposed to doing it separately.

Maxx told me that punt returns and kick return TD's count towards Hester as well as the Bears D/ST... thats the only reason I took Hester.. if otherwise then I'm screwed.

Return TDs are scored to the player and not the defense, because its technically the special teams unit that does it, not the defense.

That's bullshit, why pick a defense + special teams, if the special teams efforts are going to one player? That's stupid.

Thanks for telling us all that from the start. No, fuck that noise, Hester has to be considered a receiver alone because he's dropped so far - if you'd made it clear he'd get return points, he would have gone a lot higher.

Its not even worth arguing. The fact that you'd have to start Hester at WR or in the flex over a more productive player just to get the what... 4 return TDs he might get this year (at most, six last year, no way it happens again) offsets any value he has as a returner.

We don't pick a special teams team, we pick a kicker. Kick returns have nothing to do with defense. Its standard Yahoo FF scoring to give return TD points to whatever player gets them.

We knew this last year and Hester went about the same round. Same thing happened with Dante Hall a few years ago. You're seriously making way too big a deal out of this. The dude had 6 TDs off of returns last year., 2 recieving TDs. You can't honestly tell me you'd throw him in a starting WR spot, when all he'll get you is maybe 7 points a game.

He was picked right around where he should have been. Scoring stats are right there on the league page, if you had a question, you should have asked, as again I've done it like this for the past 4 years and we've never had a problem with it.
