Ten Pin Bowling

So I went bowling today. I tend to go maybe three times a year, always enjoy it when I go and on average bowl two games each time making an average of six games a year since I was about 12.

So I'm in no way a pro.

Still today was nice cos I scored my best ever score of 166 (including strike, strike, strike, 9 to finish).

I followed that up with 156 (including strike, strike, strike, strike to finish).

For me this is good stuff as anything over 100 leaves me satisfied and 120+ leaves me happy.

Out of 50 of us I came second first game (172 won) and second in the second game (162 won). I had the best 2 game average - whoo go me.

So what's your best score using the standard ten turn game?

Made a 181 once. Which is slightly better than my lowest ever score of two.

I've got in the 140s before I think. Used to go bowling a lot as the bar there was cheap.

The 100-110 range is about average for me. Anything in the 120-140 range, I'm pretty happy. I only end up going a few times a year though. My best is 162.

I usually get 100-130. My best score was 191, I was on fire that day... Sadly, I think my second best score is something around the 150 mark.

Five-pin, though, I'm horrible.

When I play, I start off crap, get annoyed, think about it and then get better.

Christ, I'm usually delighted to break 100.

Somewhere in the region of 120-130 would be my best, tend to average just over 100, I don't go nearly as often as I'd like though.

I go maybe once a month if that, my best score is 221, which was just an unreal game. But I average around 140-160. I have fun with the guys, grab a few drinks and bowl.

My ability depends on how much we drink. But I usually get a 120-130 score.

I have been bowling in a junior league since I was 6 and for my high school all 4 years...I am currently in my senior year with a high game of 277 (open 1st frame then 11 in a row)...My highest series is a 670, which included the 277 along with a 195 and a 198...My current average is in the 185-190 range but I look to improve it to 200 by the end of the year
