EWB Monthly GFX Contest: April

Okay, after reading all the replies I've decided to go with the alternate every other month with wrestling and non-wrestling battles.

In April it's turn for: Non-wrestling

The rules:

5 movie and/or TV stars have come together with a band to start a charity event.

Your aim:

• Pick the movie stars
  
• Pick the band
  
• Pick a location
  
• Pick a name for the event
  
• Pick a date
  

Height: In between 400 and 600

Width: In between 300 and 500

Just make sure it's poster size

Deadline date: April 16th noon CET

I'm working on something, its taken me forever to think of 5 people to put in the band

Y'kno wha actually.. I know it's my contest.. but considering judging will be done by votes of non-participants.. anybody mind against me joining?

Yeah, I think the rules came out kinda complicated.

I'll offer to judge this.

Depending on the success of this contest, I'll see about reinstating the monthly contests. I don't have high hopes for this, but it's at least worth a shot.

Still planning a little graphics tournament to see how that goes, but this should be a good indicator of if it'll be worth the time to or not just yet.

I think making a band from celebrities is better... takes more creativity and people cant just use a cut of an existing bands logo

Maybe actually, if we can get another judge in .. we can have a best of 3 judges?

So.. if anybody else is willing to judge along with me and Norro?

anyway Im in for it... already have an idea

Bit worried that it might look like I did no work on this, but I can post individual stocks and source photos if you like. all the Lost people were cut individually, as were their instruments, background is a bunch of shots worked together, blah blah blah.

Might rework it a bit later, but it's like 2am and I've been working on this since like 10pm

Damn wish I was on a beefier system, I'd join in this system crawls to a halt when Photoshop is open. if another judge is needed I'll be glad to fill that spot
