Fuck that. That was the best thing Webber has ever done. Sadly it didn't knock him out of the race.

Fuck Hamilton.

my thoughts exactly. him complaing on his radio wasnt going to help him, all it did was make him look bad. Overall though it was a really great race and a great drive from Button. Kubica did really well to finish 2nd also.

F1 boring? Pah. What a great race - just another reason why Albert Park should always open the season. Shame on the New South Wales announcing plans to steal the race from Melbourne.

Really pleased for Chandhok. Finished a race!

Don't be pleased for him. He shouldn't even be driving.

Quiet you!

I loved the race, Webber hitting Hamilton was a bit stupid, but thats racing.

I was so glad Vettel dropped out, I really don't like the guy following a couple of his outbursts last season, and his constant "no.1" gestures yesterday really fucking grated on me. I just laughed at how it meant nothing when he went out. Seriously Fuck Vettel.

But... BUTTON  The guy is just fucking immense, and wow, does the guy just continues to impress me.

Virgin and HRT are embarrassing to watch right now. I can't recall two worse debuts since Mastercard Lola in 1997...

Midland and Super Aguri in the same year? Ide was awful, and an accomplished driver in Sato could do nothing for the Aguri.

And also...

WEBBER! Why do you have to almost get there every time?

Agreeing with everyone who hates Hamilton and loves Kubica. The man didn't flinch when he was about to be passed, just got on with the job. Alguersuari held back Schu for the whole race, but as soon as he got away he overtook de la Rosa. Massa looked really shaky early on but settled down and did well to get back after being passed. The sooner we get a day start back, the better. It's getting too dangerous now.

WEBBER! Why do you have to almost get there every time?

Because he is genuinely not that great a driver. Even with some of the best cars behind him, he usually flops. To be honest, he wouldn't even have made it to Formula 1 if it wasn't for his cougar wife.

Webber isn't that great a driver, but its not like he is awful.

He also go in to F1 because of Eddie Jordan introducing him to Paul Stoddard who then signed him for an intial 3-race contract for his Minardi team, his performance at his first race (in Australia) got him the full-time drive.

He is not married.

His girlfriend (who he lives with along with her son from a previous relationship) is hardly a cougar, in fact she is hardly good looking <_<.

Pic for reference:

They must really be madly in love.

There can't be any other reason <_<

My point exactly, either that because he is Australian he is either:

1) Drunk all the time and has perma beer-goggles

2) Is using her for her money, much like all those criminals who live in Australia

:shifty:

I am joking before you all jump on my case.

Her family is heavily associated with Formula 3, which lead to Webber getting involved... and then continue on with Richies story.

I never said he was terrible... but he isn't as great as a lot of people make him out to be.

Sidepod-mounted mirrors are to be banned from post-Malaysia onwards [EDIT - now postponed until the Spanish GP because teams complained to the FIA that there was not enough time to make modifications to their cars in time for the next race], due to safety concerns. Vettel has already come out and said that he fears this will have a big aerodynamic effect on the RB6.

Fairuz Fauzy will be replacing Heikki in a Lotus during one of the practice sessions.

Finally, Michelin are supposedly on the verge of returning from F1 from 2011 onwards, taking the place of the departing Bridgestone. However there may well end up being more than just one sole supplier.

Here are the results of P1 & P2 from Sepang.

Incredible what some rain can do to Formula 1 cars. Red flags, both Ferrari's and Lewis out in Q1, Button spinning off and going out in Q2, a Lotus reaching Q2 in their home GP (as well as Glock's Virgin), a strong showing from Hulkenberg, Webber's first pole of 2010 (keeping Red Bull's streak going) and more.

Did I miss Robert Kubica becoming Jenson Button's teammate in Australia? But you're right, it's looking very open and varied so far, it's far better to have several competitive teams, 5-6 drivers are right in there at the top.

Anyway, only caught the end of Malaysia as I was asleep, but good to see Red Bull finally getting the win they deserve, clearly got the fastest car and it's just been reliability so far. Good to see Alguersuari and Hulkenberg getting their first points too.
