4 artists/groups I didn't use to like, but grew to love:

Pearl Jam (the few songs I heard at first didn't interest me as much as the other grungers at first)

Smashing Pumpkins (it was mainly Corgan's voice. Though now I only really listen to Mellon Collie)

Metallica (it was just more a slow build into liking heavier stuff)

SOiL (I went off the 5 or so random songs I had, then discovered their first 2 albums with the original signer)

GROUP 3: YES, NO

4 artists/groups I fell in love with, but then grew tired (half grew tired of, half "their new output is shit", cos I still listen to old stuff for some of these):

Islands

Nickelback (fuck, who didn't have "Silver Side Up"?)

Eels

Razorlight (whereas lots of the Arctic Monkeys/Fratellis stuff stands up, I find very little of Razorlights stuff does, "Golden Touch" is still killer though)

Some of it was pretty hard considering how much my music tastes have changed the past couple of years so the 3rd group could've had a million different bands listed.

4 artists/groups I have never liked, and doubt that I ever will:

Guns 'n' Roses

Libertines (I like one or two songs but nothing I'd listen to overly).

The Strokes (Same as Libertines.)

Green Day

Group 2: NO, YES

================

4 artists/groups I didn't use to like, but grew to love:

Muse (Used to really dislike anything that wasn't on their 'top shelf' of songs.)

Bloc Party (Just because I hated Helicopter and The Prayer, really really hated.)

Radiohead (I don't know why I hated them, but I just did. I hadn't even really listened to much besides the songs that you hear and don't know who sang them.)

Arcade Fire (Really gotten into them recently. Maybe not love, but they are brilliant.)

GROUP 3: YES, NO

================

4 artists/groups I fell in love with, but then grew tired:

Rage Against the Machine (I think I grew out of RATM a few years back when I started listening to The Smiths, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Bloc Party and Radiohead. I still listen occasionally, same with Soundgarden, Audioslave and Pearl Jam)

Coheed & Cambria (Don't get me wrong, I love the first three albums (the forth is great but not a patch on the original three) but the latest album has soured me a bit. Just like Morrissey's latest album did for him.)

Linkin Park (Back in 2000 a little bit after Hybrid Theory came out, I was an absolute die hard fan of Linkin Park. Hoody's, sprayed red hair to look like Mike Shinoda and painted black nails for the same reason. It took me a while, I bought Reanimation, Meteora, Live In Texas aaaaand then something happened and I didn't listen to them for ages. Then I heard a few songs from Minutes to Midnight and realised I got out whilst I still had some dignity. The stuff with Jay-Z is all I really listen to these days, it's quite strange because they used to be all I'd listen to.)

RAP MUSIC (I figured I'd put this here just because I dont really go out of my way to listen to rap. I still enjoy some of it, but I don't listen to half the amount of rapper that I used to, and I haven't really listened to any new material in a long while.

Group 4: YES, YES

4 artists/groups I loved from Day One, and still do:

The Gaslight Anthem

The Smiths

Los Campesinos!

Red Hot Chilli Peppers
