We're not playing horribly, didn't need to lose Strauss straight away, he's been playing well in the warm-ups and in the past year in general.

Good to see Siddle pick up a few wickets, they need a spread of wicket takers in stead of just one or two guys taking hauls.

Cook and Bell are good enough to play out the day I think, can see England reaching 250 by stumps for 4 wickets maybe 5

Our middle order is awful. Clarke is looking really scratchy which might be his back considering he was on fire in his last Shield match. Hussey and North, however...

Australias middle order is very scratchy, as much as i Love pup clarke, he shouldn't have played, seems very selfish.

Openers seem to be solid but from there we are very hit and miss
