Pretty good. You can never have too much Michael Jai White and Jeri Ryan. Looking forward to some of the more memorable characters showing up such as Scorpion and Sub Zero.

It's supposed to be short, it's a web series.

Acting was hilarious (especially Kano), the writing was terrible and the concept is utterly absurd. It is very Mortal Kombat.

I didn't say it was literally too short, I said it felt too short. As in, the 12 or so minutes the episode lasted didn't feel like 12 minutes.

So, anyone else watched Episode 2 yet? Writing been's utterly lousy so far. Really want some more memorable characters to turn up, as right now it's boring with just Jax, Sonya, Kano and a really crappy Stryker.

Episode 3 - Johnny Cage!

Didn't really dig this episode entirely, but it shaped up nicely at the end and looks to be heading in a very interesting direction.

Things really started to pick up around the end of episode three, starting on four now - looks like we're finally geting to the Outworld stuff. And Baraka looks like a leftover orc from LOTR.

EDIT: Ahh - backstory for Sindel, Shao Khan, Kitana, Jade and (kinda) Baraka. A lot of it done in grapic novel form.

The Johnny Cage episode was awesome.

Not a huge fan of the Outworld stuff though, kinda goes against the grain of what they presented with the original teaser. What happened to Baraka being a crazed surgeon who mutilated himself? Now, as apsham pointed out, he looks like something straight out of LOTR.
