I'm holding off listening to the new songs until I can grab the full thing - just because I want to experience it all at once.

To further clarify - I don't exactly want back the old song topics and the like, while classics they were for a different time and those songs don't exactly fit who the guys are anymore. BUT, regardless I don't want to see ANYTHING like Angels & Airwaves, and I would like to see something a bit more upbeat than the self-titled album.

But that's just me talking right now, tomorrow I'd probably welcome a clone of the self-titled.

First single sound a bit too Angels and Airwaves-ish for my taste. I'll download the album, but I'm not hoping for much. It still feels like Tom doesn't really want to be there. I also hate his insistence on using his signature Gibson for everything, he should really go back to his strat occasionally.

Same here, really.

I'd be down for something new and fresh if it didn't sound bad, like discarded AA songs.

I'll drink to that.
