1905 Scenario (Needs A Little Help)

This might sound a little odd compared to the other EWR scenarios posted on this forum, but I'm trying to make a 1905 Scenario. I have good knowledge on 1905 wrestling generally, but I need a little back-up on more wrestlers, wrestler info and more promotions. If you could help me, I would be grateful. Thank you.

Ok, I'll rephrase that. Decent knowledge of 1905 wrestling. The only problem is I have a shortage of wrestlers. Should I just make a few up?

I might be mistaken here, but I don't think wrestling in 1905 much resembled the wrestling we have now. It was a long while until there were established promotions, for instance. For early wrestling you might want to try 1920s-40s.

On f4wonline.com, Karl Stern is doing a series of podcasts on the history of wrestling. Parts 1, 2 & 3 are devoted to that era, part 2 specifically. Mostly centered on Gotch and the world title, but he mentions some names you'd be well served to research. Worth a listen at any rate.

In 1905, Wrestling was still a real deal. Wrestling became scrpited and pre-determined around 1920s

Hi Twistofjack well you happen to be to be speaking someone who has some history knowledge in wrestling from 1800s onwards. Now there is two particular website that I use quite alot and that is the Pro-Wrestling Illustrated site ( http://www.pwi-online.com/pages/wrestlingframe.html ) and Pro-Wrestling Wikia ( http://prowrestling.wikia.com/wiki/World_Heavyweight_Championship ). Now these two sites should give some help, but will try and find out more info for ya. Hope it helps talk soon

Thanks guys for your advice and help. I won't give up on this scenario even though it'll take a long time. When I posted this moths were eating my stomach away since this was my first post and all, but I promise I'll have 1905 EWR up some time sooner or later.

Oh and also, I've ran out of places to do EWR diaries on other forums e.g. BWA, HWRP, Wres-Li, is there anywhere in particular I should post diaries on this subforum?

Diaries go in The Dome if it's played on EWR or any of Adam Rylands games.

The only acception tends to be BY2G games that you can do in the BY2G Challenge thread.

Sorry. I didn't even see you had asked a question. Las thing I saw was you saying you were going to stick with the scenario.
