EWR 2012 Stats Update: January ***PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS***

I apologize if this problem has already been brought up or if I'm doing something stupid that I don't realize, but I haven't been on this board in a long time.

Anyways, I've been having problems getting this update to work. I'm trying to start a WWE game and whenever I apply the data, I go to my Staff and all their morale is set to 0. And all their contracts need renewed too, which with the 0 morale makes it hard. I tried Arsenic but couldn't get the Staff editor to work, and even if I did, I wouldn't want to do that for every single staff member. I also noticed that certain roster members had 0 months left on their contracts. And some title histories were a bit messed up. I've probably tried this updated a total of 5 times over 2 different save slots and I keep getting the same result. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong.

I'm guessing you pressed CTRL + ALT + DEL while the game is loading, or clicked it repeatedly to the point it quit responding. These modern updates take a LONG time to load. I have a laptop that I purchased a few months ago with an Intel CORE i5 and 8 GB of RAM, and it still takes a few minutes to load a new game. You need to let the game load without trying to bypass it in any way. Just leave your computer on and let it load - do something else, like watch TV or make a sandwich or something - give it time to load. It will eventually. You shouldn't have a problem if you aren't stopping it.

I know I've never CTRL + ALT + DEL though I have clicked a few times. But the first time I ran it, I let it go untouched. Would a screen saver popping on interfere with the game loading? That's the only thing I can think of.

EDIT - Tried again and shut off my screen saver and browsers just to make sure. Still getting the same result. The game looks like it starts up fine, I just get all these errors (Staff morale at 0, certain contracts at 0 months, ticket prices at $0) after I load the update.

You're letting it load completely? You're not trying to close it when it says not responding?

I'm not sure if these will be incorporated into the February data, but I just thought that I'd add some information.

For starters, as far as I'm concerned, Maximum Pro Wrestling rarely runs shows these days. It's mainly Squared Circle Wrestling, which uses a mix of trainees and MaxPro workers. Now, I have went through the roster and will list the following people that should be added (that are in-game talent):

"Hacker" Scotty O'Shea (one-half of the current SCW Tag Team Champions)

Alessandro del Bruno (Also known as: Alex York; One-half of the current SCW Tag Team Champions) - He currently works a gimmick as a soccer player, so I'd say, dual-sport athlete should be his gimmick.

Pepper Parks (the current SCW Premier Champion)

Chris Bishop

Lionel Knight

Gabriella Vanderpool

Xandra Bale

Tyson Dux - Turn him face. Main finishing move should be: Brainbuster

Xtremo - Turn him heel and his gimmick to cocky. His ring name should be: Jayson Cyprus

Some event names that could be used are:

January - Havoc at the Hangar

March - Adrenaline Cup: Round 1

May - Adrenaline Cup: FINALS

June - *Could use either one of these as they're both events from the month* - Tiger Fest: Milton or Summer Showdown

July - HOSTILE Grounds

September - *Another multiple-event month, so whichever fits* - Collision Course, Tiger Fest: Brampton or EPIC ENCOUNTERS

October - Brock Brawl

November - *Another two-event month* Milton Mayhem or Premier Showcase

Now, I'm going to be moving onto British Columbia's ECCW. For starters, it is no longer listed as Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling. It should be renamed Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, as they changed the name at their January 7th show.

The following people are in-game talent that should be added to the ECCW Roster:

Alex Plexis (one-half of the current ECCW Tag Team Champions)

Azeem The Dream - No longer adding "the Dream" after his name. Currently a face, as well.

El Phantasmo - One of the more over faces in ECCW, needs a boost in overness and a change in card position.

Gurv and Harv Sihra - Need a boost in some overness due to working on TNA's Ring Ka King project as well as a heel turn.

Moondog Manson - Needs to be turned face.

Nicole Matthews - Needs to be turned tweener, due to an affliation with Randy Myers and Alex Plexis as a group entitled the RIOT.

Randy Myers - One half of the ECCW Tag Team Champions along with Alex Plexis.

Scotty Mac - The current ECCW Hardcore Champion. Currently a heel, with a cocky gimmick.

Veronika Vice - Needs to be turned heel, gimmick changed into a bitch.

Chill Town is no more, as the group broke up about a year ago, with all the members going their seperate ways.

The NWA Canadian Jr. Heavyweight Championship is also no more, as the company has decided to do away with the seperate weight classes.

I think that'd be unnecessary clutter of your workers pool if you play as WWE. Striker is an actual wrestler, and Cole has done big in-ring angles in the past year. Mathews and Stanford are not, and don't do on-screen angles. If you wanna use them yourself in on-screen angles then feel free to add them to your own data when you've downloaded it, but for the majority I imagine it'd be a waste of time.

The main problem with adding Mathews, Stanford and other announcers as workers is that only color commentators can be workers who have the announce box ticked. The play-by-play has to be from the staff section. So if you deplete all the announcers from the staff and make them workers, you'll have only one man announce booths

OK, real quick here, since I just realized I'm like 30 pages behind between 2011 and this month already.

how about adding josh Mathews, scott stanford & justin roberts in the game? even lilian is in, why not the others?

Others have touched on a few reasons but, long story short, Lilian has been involved in storylines and even has been in a match... Mathews, Stanford and Roberts have not.

I plan to spend the rest of this week doing some renames and getting some of the backlog taken care of. Currently, I don't have anything planned, so hopefully, I'll have a good chunk of time to do some updating.

For those wondering, I plan to have the February update out sometime between Friday night and Saturday afternoon. For anyone living in a cave, chances are good that there won't be any links to MegaUpload.

If you're using the current data to start a WWE game, I can do that for you, zip the save folder, and upload it somewhere. You can then download it, unzip it, and put the contents in your s1 folder and load the first save game.

So, if you want me to do that now or after the February data is released, just let me know.
