The Club is delighted to announce that we have agreed a deal with Leeds United to sign Aaron Lennon, subject to a medical and personal terms.

Aged 18, he made 27 appearances including 19 starts for Leeds in the Coca-Cola Championship last season.

We played a small part in Lennon creating history in August, 2003, when he became the youngest Premiership player ever, after coming off the bench for Leeds at White Hart Lane aged 16 years and 129 days old.

Born in Chapletown, Leeds, Lennon came through the Academy system at Elland Road and was named the club’s Young Player of the Year last season.

More details to follow soon.

You guys probably do not know alot about him but you have got a very good pacey winger with lots of potential, he only scored once last year but he was the highlight of every game he was in and actually provided some excitement to us fans.

I believe the fee is around 2mil and if thats true, you have got a very good deal! :crying:
