I just know I'm going to get addicted to Ultimate Team. I ended up playing 'just one more match,' for about two and a half hours last night. I did waste 400 points on a bronze back to only get a marginally better goalkeeper and nothing else; I'll just save up for a silver or even a gold back to boost the squad.

Quick question RE: contracts. I know how to apply a contract to a player, but how do I check how long a player has left on their contract? Do the starting squad you get even have contracts?

You should just flick the right stick on your squad screen and it'll show you how many is left, along with his moral, chemistry and something else. Or you could right click on the player and check that way.

I like that games are rescheduled in career mode to fit the various cup competitions in but I just had my first game of the season moved. Now I'm not opening against Newcastle on August 19th, they've moved the start of the season forward by an entire week to the 12th which is now when I'll be playing WBA. This is silly.

Yeah, I dunno if this happens if you don't have European competition in your first season, but it's silly. Did make me wonder if opening day has ever been moved forward to accommodate a cup match in real life, though.

I'm the opposite at the minute, can't get into UT at all. I think it's the chemistry thing that puts me off. You can't really have an ultimate team because of it. I'm more into Career Mode and Online Pro. Playing my career as Arsenal and just sold Chamakh, Squillaci and someone else, which raised the funds to sign Fernando Torres Pushed Podolski out to left wing so there should be goals aplenty. Online Pro I'll probably play as long as everyone else is.
