A Director's Complete Filmography

Life Aquatic, for a lot of sentimental reasons, is my favorite film though if it weren't for the sentimentality I'm sure my pick would be Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Also, I realized I forgot that I've seen all but 2 of Hayao Miyazaki's full-length films. The Castle of Cagliostro as it is part of a larger series that I haven't seen much of and Ponyo. Though my brother owns the latter on DVD so there's a chance I did watch it once and have just completely blanked on having seen it.

I just finished all of Paul Thomas Anderson's filmography; he's definitely up there with my all time favourite directors.

I now wanna start trying to get through a director's work, who I haven't seen anything of, in chronological order.

I'm thinking Mike Leigh or Tarkovsky at this point in time. I'm gonna brainstorm some other ideas now. Possibly Leos Carax, but I've heard mixed things about everything except Holy Motors. Has anyone got any suggestions? And preferably someone who doesn't have over like 10 films.
