[EWR] June 2002 Scenario

After almost 6 months of work, I think I can't improve it more by myself, so I think is time to share that work to all of you.

Improvements that I already did in this update:

- Thousands of ages, birth months and nationalities fixed (for workers and staff, if I set a picture that means that age, birth month and nationality of this worker is fixed) (100% of women workers have age, birth month and nationality fixed)

- Fixed some non-working gimmicks

- Some wages fixed (specially woman)

- Some stats fixed

- Added Cheerleader Melissa and Precious Lucy (Lufisto)

- Removed Mae Young, Jackie Fargo, Ralphus and Fabulous Moolah

- Fixed Titles Images

- De-activated some tag teams (this update had all teams activated by default)

- 5 stables added (this updated had a lot of stables by default, but all with no members)

- All WWE developers had Written Contracts

- I send Rhyno and Chris Kanyon to development because in that time they are out of action by injuries.

- And more...

- Chris Benoit has 100 in technical and 95 in speed? I'd lower both of them.

- Christian's speed is too high.

- Edge's overness is too high. Drop down to low to mid 80's.

- Hogan's brawl should be higher. Maybe in the 50's?

- Kurt Angle's brawl should be lowered.

- The Rock's brawl should be lowered

- Triple H's charisma needs to be higher.

- RVD's speed needs to be lowered to mid to high 80's.

I agree with all of this, except for the last note about Rey. The game is set to start on June 1. Meaning, anything that happens in June is not in the game. Also, there are way too many 0's for stats for the guys in WWE, that's all I've looked at so far. Even guys like Bossman in 2002 could still do a shoulder block, which is a speed based move. Therefore no one deserves a 0. Also, some of the stats are way too high. Benoit was already mentioned, but there are others, especially Eddie. I love Eddie, but his stats are too high. Also, too many of the foreign guys, Mexican and Japanese, have inflated stats. There is no way a guy like Low-ki should have a 35 brawl stat and Psicosis have a 52

First of all, thanks for the feedback, I really appreciated. I just applicate all your suggestion to the game, now working in Japanese and Mexican wrestlers. I'm very busy this week, but I will be working hard in this update this Friday. I have some issues to discuss with you, that I think should help to improve the update:

1 - If you compare the wages of this time (2002) with the current, seem very inflated.

2 - Who the hell is Curious Orange? (TNA Staff)

3 - I'm not good detecting when a wrestler is in his prime like 'Kurt Angle was in his prime in 2003'. I say this because, I'm a Lita fan, and if you see her stats in game (28B/60S/13T/60Ch) she had worst stats that today (45B/60S/25T/73Ch). I don't know if Lita was in her prime in 2002, but I think she can't be that bad in 2002, since she was alone with Trish Stratus the top divas of the company back in that moment, and usually wrestlers improve during his career, no when they retire.

4 - Why some many staff workers are called ' First name + Dudley'?

5 - I will be glad is something check more promotions, not just the WWE, specially TNA and RoH, but I accept suggestions for every company in game. Also I suggest check former WCW stars and other big names that are Free Agents.

6 - I accept stats for workers and staff if they are already working in June 2002 (but not already in the game) or they are gone start in the following months.

7 - Keep suggesting relationships, and help me if you can to add the missing stables.

I'll edit this post with some notes in the scenario, which is awesome for the record.

-British Bulldog needs to be removed. He died in May 2002.

-Ric Flair shouldn't be a non-wrestler.

-Arguably, The Rock should be a non-wrestler. His last full time schedule as around Wrestlemania X8.

-Tazz should be a non-wrestler (or even removed and put in as staff). He retired in 2002 and became Smackdown's full-time announcer in April 2002.

-Randy Orton should be on Smackdown and not in development. He debuted in April.

-K-Kwik's name should be Ron Killings.

-Disco Inferno's name should be his real name, Glenn Gilbertti.

-If the intent is for the game to begin on June 1st, Jerry Lynn should be a free agent.

-Gangrel should be The Vampire Warrior.

-Tiger Ali Singh should be on the WWE roster.

-DDP should be a non-wrestler. He injured his neck in April and never returned full-time (even announcing his retirement in June).

-Albert shouldn't be a fun babyface anymore, as he attacked Scotty 2 Hotty and turned heel in April.

-RVD should be IC Champion.

-Hurricane should be Cruiserweight Champion.

-The Sandman should be XPW World Champion.

-Following teams need to be de-activated. Dudleyz, Tazz and Spike, Hart Brothers, Bros. of Destruction.

-Ric Flair and Scott Steiner should have a dislike relationship based off of Flair's book.

-Bret Hart and Goldberg shouldn't have a relationship.

-Undertaker and Paul Bearer with a dislike relationship?

As someone that recently tried to play the 2002 update, I want to thank you. I can only imagine how many hours that you put into this.

One of the more underated start dates. You have TNA just starting out. MLW comes in and crowns Shane Douglas champ but he decides to not work for them and takes XPW to the east coast. (On a side note, does anyone know the story of what happened between Shane and MLW. Its always bugged me. Did they know he was never going to work for them again?)

Just a really fun time period that we didn't appreciate because we were used to the big 3.

What's the justification for raising 911's brawl? Even at his best, he was nothing but a big guy who Chokeslammed people, and rarely wrestled a match, more often than not just showing up to hit the Chokeslam. By 2002, he was all but retired, and certainly hadn't improved as a wrestler.

I don't think Brock should really have 85 overness; he was getting pushed like hell, but you'd still see a lot of "Brock Who?" signs, and a lot of the time he came out to complete silence, or the dreaded "Goldberg" chants. "85" would put him really in the upper echelon, which he just wasn't until at least August.

Hayabusa probably shouldn't be in the game at all, at least not as a worker. If he must be, his in-ring stats should all be 0, not single digits. He was paralysed in October 2001, and completely wheelchair bound. Even today, he can only walk unaided for a few minutes at a time, and the closest thing to a "match" he's had since his injury was a few seconds as part of a gauntlet for Kyoko Inoue's retirement show. There's absolutely no reason he should be included as a worker; if he must be in there, he could be there as an owner (WMF) or an announcer.

Which is it? Personally, I'd say lowering his speed is a better idea. By 2002, Liger's style wasn't too speed-centric, and a lot more methodical and mat-based.

I don't see why Low-Ki should have shooting ability ticked - he's a stiff worker, but as far as I know, he has no background in any shoot fighting.

I'd bring Raven's charisma down. 97 is absurd.
