I feel like you guys are talking about serious games whilst me and Skummy probably are talking more about games where you pick a random map, put cheats on and literally make a 5 bombard tower thick wall around your entire base.

I feel like this is a plan foiled simply by the host setting "Enable Cheats" to "off".

Yeah, but I always hosted the game when playing with friends. So cheats were always on. And as such, so were infinite Bombard Towers.

Most excellent. That goes for anyone else in this topic with the game as well - I grew up playing these games but at the same time, I've never really played against anyone else. So if you need a whipping boy I assume I'll be an easy target.

I almost forgot. Fuck the AI in this game. I thought I was doing decent, turns out they were just building EVERYWHERE with 1,000 villagers and conspiring against me.

Geez...are all the computer players instantly hostile to you? Was playing a single player random game and suddenly the other 4 computer players start attacking me out of no where!

Sometimes they attack you, sometimes they attack your teammate first. It also depends on the difficulty you have selected as to how aggressive they are.
