There are good anti-vomit options in the menus. Fix camera to track or ship rather than pilot (track is sucky but ship gives a great vibe while taking the edge off) and change the goggle view (which rather cleverly blocks off some of the cockpit panels. Instead of the cockpit being see-through for about 270 degrees, you can get something like this:

My wife has only ever played a little Job Simulator before. Within half a lap of Wipeout (the flattest I could find) she had to remove the headset, open the window and sit down as she felt extremely nauseous.

To be fair, the first time I played Wipeout I felt queasy at a couple of points for the first few laps but after that it was all good.
