  1. Brown's a decent player but I couldn't see him leaving. The more he leaves United hanging over the contract, the more chance of them offering him what he wants. We've been under alot of pressure defensively and Brown's been holding it all together along with Ferdinand, I just couldn't see Sir Alex letting him go especially since they won't be able to buy anyone to combat his absence. Carrol on the otherhand, may need to go. He's not a bad Keeper and in his defense, he never did anything wrong but rumours of United signing Cudicini and others to fill the void indicates that someone has to go...
  2. He hadn't played for 3 months, Man Utd spent 30million on him. I'd say he was just excited to show what he can do - I expect him to take the Cantona role behind RVN and supply more goals. And Whisper I meant homegrown youngsters - not proven players like the Nevilles, or Americans like Spector. There is no space in that team for a younger player to come through - apart from maybe when Keane or Giggs leave, but I see Man Utd buying big to combat that. ←
  3. Shawn of the Dead - 8/10 Like most of the other EWBer's I enjoyed the movie quite alot. Some really funny scenes and also some signs towards the end of coming out of it's comedy shell. Nonetheless, It remained funny through out and gains my recommendation...
  4. An excellent win in my opinion, but the fact that there were eight goals in a Champion's League Game regardless of the teams is pretty poor. United dominated throughout and Fenerbache never showed any attacking presence. The defending by both teams was awful and United were unlucky to conceed the two goals. Rooney, allthough getting alot of the praise, could have done better I thought. He was always a threat but never created anything for other players...A little greedy in that respect but as long as there's goals I don't see much to worry about.
  5. Manchester United 1 - Tottenham Hotspur 0 Scrappy game from any perspective, not the same United that dominated Liverpool that's for sure. Nonetheless it was a decent victory but should have been from a much wider margin. Spurs never threatened and defended horribly with the Penalty decision being a clear example of this. A lot of dispute came over the Penalty as it was little the foul itself but what came before it that led to the decision. The offside goal was another questionable aspect as to whether or not he was offside when the ball was played. To me it didn't look like it but I guess the linesman had as good as view as anybody. All in all it was a poor enough match but a decent victory given the circumstances...
  6. Manchester United 2 - Liverpool 1 ...All I can say is wow.
  7. In the video, she kind of looks like Kenan from Kenan and Kel.
  8. United really should have picked up the win last night, they were clearly the better team throughout. Allthough a draw isn't the best of results, you gotta bare in mind that they were 2 - 0 down at half time and that this was an away game. That said, two away goals and a draw isn't a bad start...Hopefully a sign of good things to come.
  9. United 2 - Bolton 2 Not a bad match, United cleary deserved to win and dominated the most part of the game. However, some sloppy defending and a keeper who frankly didn't have a clue soon saw an end to that.

Ah, I forgot about that one. Other honourable mentions go to Kid Rock's American Bad Ass who undoubtedly stole the riff to Metallica's Sad But True. That's not to say Metallica themselves haven't done they're fair share of the stealing...Megadeth, anyone? ←
  11. Laurel Canyon - 7/10 Had it's faults but was still pretty good in areas...
