The A's sent Joe Blanton to the Phillies for three minor leaguers, two of which are from A ball. I'm not real thrilled that we got Blanton but he's definitely an upgrade over Eaton as our 4th/5th starter. I really wish we would've got Bedard or Burnett. Gillick probably won't go out and get another starter though, most likely hoping that Myers can come back and help out instead of being a fucking bum.

Because I want to see what other outrageous stipulations Selig will add to next year's All-Star Game. I've just hated the fact that they changed the deciding factor of home field advantage in the World Series from best record to who wins an exhibition game. Didn't see last night's show but I read the recap and it's probably a certainty that Sucre gets thrown in SONA before they break out, thus throwing another wrench in the works.

Anyone watch/like Big Shots? Caught the pilot last week and with guys like Titus and Vartan, I thought it would've been a lot better but it definitely has potential. The next few episodes will probably be make or break for me.

Saw it at the midnight showing last night/today and I thought it was really good. Probably not as good as the original (I wasn't expecting it to be) but I enjoyed the new version with the peak into his past and what not. I don't know why everyone is saying it's like the "torture/porn" horror movies, cause it's not. The only reason I can even see them saying that is because you see a bunch of tits but you always did in slasher flicks. One reason could be that they saw a different version of the film. I went to see it with a friend of mine and he said he watched a leaked version of the film online and said the movie we watched was very different from the version online.
