Just finished my best offensive game yet, playing as a 2nd baseman in RTTS, 5-6, 4 doubles, 5 RBIs, 2 runs scored in a 16-10 loss. Now if the rest of the team could be more consistent it'd be great.

So I bought this today. Looking forward to RTTS as a shortstop, and probably doing a franchise or two also.

I still like to do a play through of MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries every few months or so. Something about mowing down walking tanks with the Fafnir's twin Heavy Gauss rifles is very satisfying to me.

Well, available funds aren't affected by the cap. Playing as an owner long term is difficult in this game.

I'll second both of these statements. The game plays great, but the fatalities can be ridiculous.

Rented this and so far have just played RTTS, and I'm enjoying way more than I thought I would.

There is a way to remove cap penalties, under settings and in the user teams menu. Select the user you want to remove penalties for, and tap X, should have the option to toggle auto pilot and clear cap penalties... I imagine it's a commish only feature to remove penalties.

I'm considering purchasing this, but since haven't played a baseball game since High Heat 2002 or so I'm mildly concerned about the learning curve for this.

20-10 win over the Packers, but lost AP for the season with a broken shoulder blade... So there's that. Gonna find a third back in free agency while on the bye for depth but I think Frank Shaw will fill in alright as starter.

Played, the AI had no clock management at the end. You have 3 seconds, a timeout and a field goal will send it to OT. Let's call a play. 20-17 win, surprisingly the don't cover Megatron strategy failed.

Played a game in my Oakland/LA CFM, and called a QB sneak, Derek Carr vaults over the pile (without assistance from me) and I was reminded of the basket catch Willie "Mays" Hays scene in Major League. "Nice dive Carr, don't ever fucking do it again."
