  1. Warrior Within is a good game Sands of Time is a great game and Metroid Prime 2 beats them all (well, definently Warrior Within)
  2. THe funny thing is Christmas with the Kranks(Which is just as bad) is doing MUCH better then Surviving Christmas. It will sure get over 60 + Mill in the B.O. Wrong time to release a crappy movie.
  3. OMG......thats my birthday. Wow. I'm crying out of happiness.(I hope its the real deal.)

    X-Men Legends

You did like Spiderman 2? I though it was the best spiderman game yet...meh. As for X-Men Legends, I personally liked it, over 15 X Men to choose from, 4 player co-op.....a great storyline with some nice Boss Battles. The only down part is it could get repetitive, and the actual enemies in the levels don't look that much different. You should check out the reviews for the game on Ign, or Gamespot.
  5. Too bad because it was really a touching movie, a great one too, definently one of the years best. I could see it getting nominated for best original screenplay, but so can Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, another excellent piece of filmmaking by a talented film maker. I also hope that somebody other then Depp wins best Actor....he might of deserved it last year, but there are better choices this year. Its going to be a tight race, and I don't want the Oscars to give it to him just because they didn't last time(like Seann Penn and Denzel)
  6. Alexander for Rosario Dawson is a classic example.
  7. Good idea for this thread....less clutter for the boards. Here is what I think so far of some of the bigger nominations at the oscars. These don't have all the nominations, only ones that I think will get the spot, or even some that I want to get a nomination: So far for Best PictureI see these nominated movies up for the award: Sideways Million Dollar Baby The Aviator Other possible nominees: Finding Neverland, Ray, Garden State, Kinsey Best Director Martin Scorsese for The Aviator Clint Eastwood for Million Dollar Baby Alexander Payne for Sideways Best Actor: Leonardo Dicaprio for The Aviator Liam Neeson For Kinsey Jamie Foxx for Ray Johnny Depp for Finding Neverland Best Actress: Kate Blanchett for The Aviator(and I say she wins too) Hilary Swank for Million Dollar Baby Annette Benning for Being Julia Uma Thurman in Kill Bill Volume 2(Least likey to happen) Best Visual Effects The Polar Express Spiderman 2 Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban Best Animated Feature(most easiest to predict) Shark Tale Shrek 2 The Incredibles The Polar Express With Incredibles winning it.
  8. The Crow: 7.5/10 After the Sunset: 5/10
  9. This could be really good/decent or just plain bad. It would be interesting, but I'm still waiting for who the hell is going to direct X3!!!
  10. I can see why this years show was better, this has been a great year for all system owners bringing out the better games then last year, which may be debatable. Still Resident Evil 4 is coming out next month, which would be a fantastic start to the 2005 year.
  11. WTF..... How the hell does GTA win GOTY, and Half-Life 2 doesn't?? Why? HL 2 is better the GTA in every way!! How could voters not notice this. The world is filled with Morons.

  13. Kinsey 6.5/10 Neeson was great, movie didn't interest me that much. Meh.
  14. AVIATOR Flies High for AFI Tuesday December 14 1:29 PM ET Desperate Housewives and Lost both make the television list in their freshman seasons. By Mark Umbach, FilmStew.com A billionaire, a family of superheroes and two friends visiting the wine country piqued the interest of the American Film Institute this year as The Aviator, The Incredibles and Sideways earned spots on the AFI's fifth annual list of the year's top ten films. A 13-person panel, which included Roger Ebert, James Cromwell and Naomi Foner, helped put together the list of the year's top films, while a separate 13-person panel worked on compiling this year's top ten television programs. This year's top ten films were: The Aviator Collateral Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Friday Night Lights The Incredibles Kinsey Maria Full of Grace Million Dollar Baby Sideways Spider-Man 2 On the television side, ABC's two break-out hits, Desperate Housewives and Lost, earned spots on the roster. HBO also had a strong showing snaring four of the ten spots with The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Deadwood and Something the Lord Made. This year's top TV programs: Arrested Development Curb Your Enthusiasm Deadwood Desperate Housewives Lost Nip/Tuck The Shield Something the Lord Made The Sopranos South Park The AFI will celebrate the creative teams behind each of the recognized films and television programs at a luncheon on January 14 at the Four Seasons. Yahoo! Movies I would take Friday Night Lights out and Kinsey out for Harry Potter 3 and Kill Bill Volume 2, one because I'm a diehard fan and loved the movie, as for the latter, come on, its QT at his best! I didn't really enjoy Kinsey that much, but Neeson was great in it. So do you agree or disagree with the list?
  15. I am so pissed right now....not even watching star wars or harry potter would cheer me up....but its worth a try. stupid Bettman, I can't wait 'till your ass is fired! 2 lockt outs?!. Asshole.
  16. I loved the book by H.G. Wells and for the most part(this is Spielberg), I have high hopes for this movie. The Teaser itself wasn't that bad, like Jar Jar said earlier, it builds up the mood.
  17. Teaser at Yahoo! Movies So what do you think? IMO, I think it has a shot at being a good movie, looks stylish and wacky....but that song just doesn't seem to fit. As for Depp(who looks freakishly like Micheal Jackson), I'll have to see more. -Star Wars Episode III:Revenge of The Sith: May 19th 2005
  18. The Polar Express(On IMAX): 8/10 Looks stunning, loved the book, love the movie. Harry potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban: 8.5/10 I Got it on DVD! YAY!! The best of the three, can't wait for The Goblet of Fire. 2005 kicks so much ass(Star Wars Episode III, Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire)
  19. I miss the good old days.. stupid G4!! Well at least I have X-Play unlike Judgement Day they don't games with colourful colours badly, they actually take Gameplay more serious!! Anything with Nintendo Tommy always bashes....I wish he dies.....did I mean that? Hell Yeah
  20. I choose Spice World.....becuase I liked them and their pop, and their jugs, and their accents. The movie was bad, but not as bad as the others.
  21. Alexander 5.5/10 Score might be low but I still liked it, and I loved how he was portrayed....at least he doesn't think all of Persia was filled with barbarians! Its a sad ending though....knowing the fate of everyone in the end. Battle Scenes were better then Troy, even the entire movie was better then Troy. The main problem was the film wanted to tell us too much when it could of shown us. The battles were great but there were only like 2 out of the 50+ he fought. The "sex scene" was extremely weird, but good nonetheless (for specific reasons ). The movie could've been soo much more. Babylon was pretty, acting was good (some amazing performances though, but only in moments). If you don't mind Numbahs, I'd like to know what you liked/disliked about the movie, just a little snippet. Please Numbahs-one of the great and powerful critic!!
