Jerry Sadowitz, the guy who did the "well it wasnt the Mexicans was it?!" joke about who killed Jesus both surprised me with how good they were. One had a bad rep from what I'd heard, the other is an unknown to me. Clearly the winner is Tommy Cooper.

Cluckatrice has bit the dust. Had to do it twice though because I killed him before all the chicks could appear first time. I also managed to finish off the hunts I couldnt because it wasnt dry at Giza. Now I'm after the Rank V hunts. Marilith is a bitch though, I'm sure I've been everywhere in the Zertinan Caverns but can I heck as find the bastard. Good for levelling up though. Orthos is next on the list to. A mate told me hes right next to White Mousse, which pissed me off cause Ive already done that one. Embroidered Tippets rule.

I only use them to triple my MP. I just don't like the prospect of losing all my MP in one go. I might have a mess about with them later. EDIT - Where abouts in the game are you?

I used a quickening once. I have no desire to use them again. Basically because it seems like nowhere explains how to use them properly early on, and I care not to find out how they work myself. Just seen that black guy with grey sideburns. Basch is kickass. Usually new characters in the story beat the shit out of your party, not Basch.

I went for it as soon as I got the hunt for it, but it bitchslapped me at first. Then I levelled up loads and got on with the story but forgot about it. Now that, the Gil Snapper and something else can't be finished till it turns dry, which looks like will never happen.

I just started drinking cholesterol reducing yoghurts this week, so I should be fit enough to hack it. I'll start a Wii fitness video. I've heard mixed reviews about Red Steel, although the back of the case looks great. Then again, its not gonna look crap is it? Oh I already heard about Sonic being duff. I see people coming to the till to buy that at work and laugh, safe in the knowledge that I hid the last copy of Zelda behind Bionicle, no-one will ever look there.

Right I've got a reservation down on a Nintendo Wii at work tomorrow, with a 10% discount. So it should only cost £162.00. To the people who have them already, should I go for it or let it fizzle out and let someone else have it? If I don't get it, the moneys going in the PS3 fund. So yeah, I'm looking for opinions on them really, are they a good buy? I couldn't find an official Wii thread to look others opinions up. Thants.

That bomb king is the most annoying FF boss of all time. Fact. I did kill him first time, but it annoyed fuck out of me. First spending twenty minutes chasing the bastard while he summoned regular bombs, all the while having to wipe oil off me with hankies or risk getting burnt to death. Then after that, the scumbag started using renew and filling his life right back up. Repeat three times. Then the guy went on a Fira magic spree that would have killed me save for a high dosage of Cura/Curaga. I finally dropped him though. Funny thing was, I didn't even need to kill him yet. Was supposed to be going east in Salikawood and went west by mistake.

The only use I've ever had for quickenings is to triple my MP. Partly because I don't understand how they work, "shuffle" and all that.

I actually thought this looked pretty lame, although I'm going down the "I bet all the action is in the trailer" thinking. I'll wait for some more feedback from people before I cough up a fiver to see it mind. Looks like its tried to crowbar an insane amount of "quotes" in there aswell. On another note, I thought 23 looked interesting, I even considered going to see it by myself.

I considered several for this; RHCP's Californication, Elephant by The White Stripes and even the once credible Greenday's International Superhits is well worth a mention. In the end though I plumbed for.... One By One, Foo Fighters. Great album, I could put the entire thing on my iPod and listen to it over and over. And do.

I took those guys on in the waterway today while hunting Orthos. I hate Bad Breath is all that needs to be said. Not so much that an Esuna can't get rid of it, its that it leaves slow on your people too. Never did find that little squid geezer. I also tried to fight Antlion, didn't even get to him because the standard monsters in the mines beat the shit out of me. Those headless things. On a side note, those Garif guys look so badass, then come crying for help as soon as a more than averagely tough monster appears.

You'll need to go to the screen east of the moogle though and run up the little tower, thus triggering the cutscene where little desert man goes back to meet moogle. Then go to said Moogle for the berries.

Yeah finally got after stalking all the merchants. Eventually found it in Rabanastre. Really helpful too, especially for killing flans. Anyone know roughly what level I should be before attempting Rank IV hunts? I'm around Level 35 at the moment and killed Gil Snapper etc. without too much trouble.

Right, anyone had trouble killing that Esper bloke with the ice elementals? Its pissing me right off. Came down to Fran, Penelo and Ashe for fucks sake before I killed him, everyone else was nearly dead. Oh, and that thing in the forest with its pollen thing is irritating beyond belief.

So much of the story is just random bits of Star Wars pieced together that I cannot help but laugh. >_> I suppose there could *theoretically* be spoilers here...so I'll just be safe rather than sorry. ...I'm a cynical git really.
