On the subject of whammy bars, how do people use theirs? I personally find it easiest to have it pointing outwards so I can slip my hand underneath it and push up, while everyone else I've played it with has the standard pointing inwards method so they just push it in. I can't do it that way, the bar gets in my way.

"Sad But True" and "TNT" would make my week. What's the latest on the 80's edition?

Is it just me or is player 2 much quieter than player 1 in multiplayer games? I've tried swapping the guitars to see if it was the wireless ones fault, but its the same with the wired one. Is that a common problem, or just my PS2?

Guitar Hero 2 on Face-Off mode, some Civ3 (I got Empire Earth free with it but gave it away) and the customary PES6 games when friends are round. A good day.

I got GH2 and a second wireless guitar for some multiplayer all for £85. Which is about average for the PS2. I kinda missed the boat in terms of board discussion but favourite tracks are so far Jessica, Woman, John The Fisherman(?) and Stop! I thought I'd hate the Megadeth one but it's not too bad. Hella disappointed to find out that No-One Knows is on Guitar Hero 1 though. ... It's arriving from Play.com on Monday. What's all this hammer and pull crap? I've been playing the second game for a few days now and have only seen it mentioned on the tips screen?

I just bought Guitar Hero 2, six months after everyone else. I love it though, despite the fact I'm struggling on the harder songs on medium. Still, I have only given it a few collective hours play. In fact, I like it so much I'm going into town in half an hour for a second guitar for some co-op duelling guitars with my brother. Can only get the wireless ones though, the wired ones are all out of stock. Damn my other tight fisted Yorkshiremen.

Anyone remember the one with the leech guy? That was shit scary. Plus I recall an episode where there was a guy who was really lucky? Those were my favourite episodes, the one-off ones about crazy monsters and stuff.

What if they throw up a "two parties of three have to go their seperate ways" scenario?

How do you kill that Goliath just inside Nabudis and what level should I be? I can just about handle the regular bad guys in the area (Those little weird guys and imps). I just can't figure out a way to hurt Goliath before he's pretty much killed me with some third level magic or other.

Just managed to get hold of 'The Best Of Blur' 'Language, Sex, Violence, Other' from the Stereophonics and 'Tea For The Tillerman' by Cat Stevens. All for a combined £15 so even if they're duff it won't be that bad. I'll edit my opinions in later.

Just picked this up for thirty notes in Tesco and it's reminding me why I wasted so many hours on Burnout 3. Not particularly focused on the crashing aspect, more on the Burnout bar this time. I thought that might put me off as the reason I liked Burnout 3 so much was that it didn't necessarily focus on the racing, but this games doing it for me. Just unlocked the factory series. Anyone else playing this or thinking about getting it? It's quality. Still have those annoying "tutorial movies" that you can't skip before you race for the first time in each match type. Bit disappointed by the soundtrack too. All in all, solid fun too. Can't wait to try out multiplayer.

Rank VI hunts are goddamn impossible. I'm doing the ones in that Nabreus Deadlands (Goliath, Deadscythe and another one.) Everything in there kicks my arse. I've even got that pirate guy with me. The main story seems to have disappeared altogether.
