I'm a bigger fan of La Liga highlight shows than watching actual matches. At its best its the best attacking football in Europe. Unfortunately, there's a lot of negative stuff that irks me into not watching full games. That said, I'm a big Henry fan so like to see how he's doing every now and again.

Was hoping for Young and Agbonlahor to get a shot, particularly after the seven minute hat trick. Worrying lack of pace for me, especially against a team like Andorra who'll just sit back for 90.

Just been to see Step Brothers and I really loved it, really funny. Goes up there with Anchorman, Old School and Tallageda Nights as classic Ferrell/Reilly. Will probably get a lot of hate from people who don't like them though.

Milners a good signing for Villa, if they can keep Carew, Laursen and their wingers fit, I'd tip them as favourites to break the top four. Sad for Newcastle though and a big blow for Keegan, especially after a good start. Who knows though, they might go into meltdown and Owen will end up at the Tigers. ^_^ We sure need another striker thats for sure.

I picked up Revenant Wings yesterday, havent finished XII yet though so I'll wait till I have first before I play it. I also got Rogue Galaxy for the PS2 which I'm hoping will be good. Also looking forward to the VII prequel muchly so.

Yeah thats what I thought, especially Diegos. Alonsos scored a couple for Liverpool since hes been there not to mention Pedro Mendes should've been against United a few years ago, a goal which defines Roy Carrolls career. Sure you need good technique and power to actually get it on target from that distance but for a lot of top players it wouldnt be too hard. I only really watch the Premier League now but there's goals as good as that every other week I'd say.

Terminator 2 over 1 for me everytime. Anyhoo, watched Coach Carter last night. Didn't think I'd like it because of the "teacher tames rough school" thing begin overdone but I loved it. Funny, and made you care about its characters. My girlfriend cried at the bit where the the scrawny gangster one has to do like a million shuttle runs then they all help him out, which I didn't find particularly heart-wrenching but there you go.

Just thought I'd chip in here three days late, that I went to see the mighty Hull take on Coventry on Wednesday and it was the worst game I've seen live at any level. Bar none. Still we won so everyone left happy thanks to an excellent Folan chip in injury time the only playing highlight of the night. I know its a cliché but now we're winning ugly I can see us push for play-offs if we turn the KC into a fortress and keep Campbell/Folan/Brown/Turner/Windass fit. Oh, and Jay Tabb is a pussy.

Watched Elf the other day, better than expected. Miracle on 34th(?) Street is always a pleaser and I don't know if anyone in England has seen this, but there's a film called The Magic Pudding thats always on at Christmas time. Its insane, but enjoyable. Nightmare Before Christmas is great. Toy Story always seems to be on too, and the Muppets Christmas Carol. The Tim Allen Santa Claus trilogy are underrated too.

I second the Fast Solo A hate on One. I nearly five gold starred it too. Hate is also dished out to the tappy green bit on Barracuda. I swear every note in that section are different spaces apart. I just can't get a rhythm to it. Love goes out to the hard mode though, its much more satisfying playing with every key and hitting the three note power chords. Finally moved onto it after getting five stars on all the medium ones, Knights of Cydonia being the last to do it on. I don't know why but the bit with all the hammer ons at the end just sends me into a trance where I forget to strum the normal notes.

Just to make sure, you can't actually play devil went down to georgia as a regular song can you? I'm right in thinking it only appears as the boss battle on the PS2 version?

Hmm, as you said, after he'd built his reputation up quite highly I'd have thought he'd go in for bigger job than that with Birmingham likely getting relegated.

I don't know if its been mentioned in here but isnt Mclaren being lined up as a pundit for ITVs Euro 2008 coverage next year before he goes back into management? Which will be a monumental kick in the teeth if they go through with it.

Having the plastic fake guitar as an actual choice to play with in-game is an awesome idea. I've gone back through medium to try and get five gold stars on every song before I try hard. Knights of Cydonia messes me up though, i just cant get a rhythm for about twenty seconds near the end and the last minute of One gets me too. I also find the 1st tier growing on me more and more every day. Oh, and I might have missed it already, but why are Pearljam headlining the UK tier?

I like the battle mode in the new game, puts a different spin on the game completely which is good. Really like the soundtrack for this game too, lots of cool tracks on there. I nearly plotzed when I saw One and Before I Forget on there. That Dragonforce song at the end killed me on medium, I don’t like them anyway though so I’m not really that bothered. My only gripe is that there are a few songs on there that don’t feel a lot like guitar anthems. Ruby by the Kaiser Chiefs? The Killers? Feels like they’ve chucked a few mainstream songs in to give it a wider appeal, which can only be expected since Activision took over.
