  1. Ted Lasso is a great shout too. Just so heart-warming and very different from a lot of stuff on tv right now.
  2. It's hard for me to judge because I binge watched every Breaking Bad season (except for the last few episodes) and watched Better Call Saul week-to-week. I think those watching methods work for each show but I don't know how much Breaking Bad works week-to-week and how much BCS works as a binge.
  3. I've heard Breaking Bad called a car crash whereas Better Call Saul is a slow train wreck.
  4. I definitely watched more tv than usual this year but it will be interesting when I look back to see how many aired in 2020.
  5. I think Matt is funny but he's not exactly bringing what I loved about Mel, Sue, Sandi and Noel.
  6. I guess it depends on where they think Bichette fits in best and where they want to keep him, but Biggio played a fair bit third this year. The Jays basically used him a bit like Ben Zobrist, however, more and more I assume they'll find a more permanent spot for him in the infield. I think it also depends on who they have to fill out their bench. They are much more likely to move Biggio into the outfield when they end up pinch hitting or having a pinch runner.
  7. I think the Jays are interested and the farm system to do it, it's just whether they think it's worth it to trade for a pending free agent. Lindor has also said Toronto is a place he'd like to play, so that's where that's coming from. Personally, I'd be ecstatic. It'd be a very Donaldson-like move. Move Bichette to 2B, Biggio to 3B. Along with Vlad, that's quite the infield.
  8. Hmm. Yeah, I probably wouldn't love that one. The amount almost needs to be a fair bit higher so that it's not like that bad to say that you make less.
  9. I never thought about the pizza one from that perspective but that's a good call. Yeah, there was a high-five one that was in public that he said he regrets doing.
  10. I was not really liking the "put something in the bag task" but it turned out to be incredible. Also, I highly recommend Ed Gamble's official Taskmaster podcast. Interesting to hear Alex talk this week about tasks that they cut and why they didn't feel like they felt like Taskmaster. He talks about not wanting tasks to feel like a prank show and that the joke should be on the contestants and not the public.
  11. I'm going to give my thoughts on the show's take on the Tulsa massacre.
  12. I still want to run a Taskmaster season in The Cube. If someone wants to the Greg to my Alex, let me know.
  13. I think these may be geoblocked in the US.
  14. I was hoping for the Braves to make it through but Rays/Dodgers should be fun. It certainly feels like it will be Rays pitching vs. Dodgers offense.
  15. I think Lovecraft Country was a show that was really well acted but missed the mark on almost all of its plot points.
  16. That it should have been a team task?
  17. Bandwagonners are fine. People should embrace bandwagoners. The 2015/2016 Jays run was seriously so fun and some of the people I watched the games with were people who were self-proclaimed bandwagoners.
  18. A spoiler thought from episode 1.
  19. Never thought I'd be actively rooting for the Rays but here we are.
  20. I liked it but it was not what I thought I was sitting down to watch. The first season was much scarier. I think the storytelling in season 2 was better but there were barely any moments that got me, horror-wise.
  21. If you have any stubs you can increase your payroll cap.
  22. Yeah, I am in a discord with a bunch of television fans who seemed pretty bummed it was cancelled. Hudson, my podcasting co-host also said he was never interested in wrestling and his only two references for pro wrestling were the GLOW tv show and the GLOW documentary.
