It would be intresting to see Villa sign Friedel it might make Guzan transistion to the EPL easier, since Friedel made the same move not to long ago. On a pretty much unrelated note Brian Mcbride looks like he wants to play for the Chicago Fire of the MLS but due to stupid allocation rules he may not get that chance this season. But I gotta say that I am happy because the rumor going around is that he is going to be one of the overage players for the US in the Olympics and I would just love to see him in a US MNT uniform again.

Well I am not a big fan of his team or anything but I do know that he was the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year last year (take that for what you will) and has got a good amount of playing time recently for the US national team and I would probably put him as the back up behind Tim Howard atm. For whatever reason the US has consistently pumped out good keepers so I am hopeful that he can make the jump as well.

On the MLS telecast tonight between Chivas USA and LA they made it sound as though Guzan will be moving to Villa within the next week.

Altidore to Villarreal It has been a while coming since he was connected to multiple teams last transfer window. Glad to see him go over since it will help him gain experience for the U.S. National team since even if he doesnt get alot of playing time right away I feel that he will gain more then what he would have from the MLS. I also pretty sure he has the highest transfer fee for an American player ever coming in at $8 million.

Henry to MLS? Obviously this is complete speculation and I would put it at about .00001% of happening but I dont think anybody thought Beckham was going to come over when he did.

Here is The Iry, I am pretty good friend with the drummer and know the other guys in the band a bit. Not really sure what I would compare them to. They are starting to gain some local popularity and have been heavily touring Ohio and the surronding states after they finish recording thier new album which is on Itunes. Another American looks like he is about to make the jump to the EPL in Chivas USA GK Brad Guzan he has in the past weeks been linked to Celtic but Villa just doubled thier bid and have offered around $4m. For those of you that probably dont know much about Guzan he won the MLS GK of the year this past year and has recently cracked the national team roster where he is likely to stay. Other American GK have had success in the EPL so it will be intresting to see how Guzan fairs if he does indeed land with Villa. Guzan to Villa?

Dont know the exact details but it looks like another American Eddie Johnson is headed to Fulham after being granted a work permit. When he first started off with the US team he like a very good striker but he when on a bit of a drought both internationally and domestically after that but he is still young so it will be intresting to see how he does. I didnt catch the whole game last night since I went out but I am actually looking forward to these playoffs. I dont have any real favorite team right now but I guess the team I like the most is New York because I like the Altidore & Angel duo up top. I only wish that they would brodcast more of the games.

I still have confidence that Cleveland can win tonight Westbrook looked good in the last start because he is more of a control pitcher. I mean Boston will get thier hits tonight but atleast last game Westbrook got out of the innings realtively unharmed. Pitching defiantly is the key to the game though, if Dice-K implodes Indians have to take advantage and get up on the Red Sox early especially with Wakefield and Beckett possibly coming in relief.

I would be kinda surprised if we blew the rest of the series since I think that if Carmona sinker is going he should do pretty well tommorrow altough with Schilling being a big game pitcher it could be a pitchers duel. If the Series were to go to 7 games the pressure would obviously be on the Indians but I would still feel comfortable with Westbrook after last game and Dice-K didnt look like anything special when the Indians faced him in Cleveland. The person that really needs to step up is Hafner, he looks nothing like the dangerous hitter we had last year and he needs to step his game up if we want to win this series and have a chance if we make it to the next round, I mean something like 5 strikeouts in 2 games cannot be tolerated.

I definaltly intrested in joining the Xbox 360 league but the game still doesnt come out here till next week, if there are still spots when I get the game I will defiantly join.

It was good to see Jamal Lewis running for over 200 yards with the Browns instead of agaisnt the Browns. It will be very intresting to see if Anderson can keep this up and hopefully the D shows up next week. I realize that Cinci has one of the top offense's but they had guys wide open all day. It was really good to see Braylon hang on to most of the balls that came his way and put up a big game as well.

The Browns look like a completely different team without having Frye at QB, Anderson has already got 4 TD passes and we arent even through 3 quarters yet.

US scores the first goal off the corner in the 20th minute by Carlos Bocanegra US own goal to tie up the game after a amazing buildup from Brazil.

Well a match that I have been looking forward to since it was announce is about to start. It should be a pretty intresting game since Brazil has pretty much all of its team here in the US to play what is pretty much the USA "A" team. I really wouldnt be surprised to see the US go down a couple goals but it will be nice to face a quality opponet sometime other then in the World Cup, since that is often the only time we have matches against the best teams. The only player that I wish would have atleast been called up for this game would have been Jozy Altidore since he has been impressive from the U-20 WC and throughtout most of the MLS season.

I am happy because of the upsets obviously but I am also happy that the college that I attend (Bowling Green) "upset" Minnesota in overtime last night and we get another chance to take a big ten team down when we play MSU next week.

Yeah I heard that Klinsman may be the person that is going to take over since he lives in southern California and wouldnt have to commute to far for the job. Along with that he would probably have some pull over Beckham so that he could make him sit rather then play him every game like Yallop has right after the International friendlies recently.

Yeah I didnt really expect much from the games since it was before the beginning of the Mexican league season, so those teams were basically just getting thier stuff together. But from what I did catch of the games they were pretty entertaing and along with that the MLS did alot better then I expect them to do so for me that was good to see.

Not sure if anyone really cares but the first Superliga final is about to end which is a tournament between the best teams from the top divison in Mexico and the MLS, it really has been a great game even though the Galaxy who have sucked in the MLS are playing. Beckham got hurt again and left before halftime and the Galaxy had a number of chances to score throughout the secound half after going down on an own goal. Anyways easily the highlight of the game if not the highlight of the Galaxy's season was Chris Klien hitting a bicycle kick to tie the game just before the final whistle. You can see it here on the front page of the MLS website: MLS Nobody scored in Extra Time so the game went to PK's and Pachuca came away with the win after one extra frame in the shootout. Either way it was a much better game then I expected from the Galaxy and they actually represented the MLS well against what I would say was a better team. Oh yeah Donavon missed the PK that would have won the game if he would have hit.

30-3 now I think Baltimore might be able to come with a 27 run inning.

The sketches were defintaly great at the end of the movie, I didnt catch all of them since I was walking out but I was laughing at the ones that I saw. The movie had sort of a Harold and Kumar feel to it and it was just a great movie. I also have to say that the dancing scene and the "aftermath" was incredibly gross but incredibly funny as well. The movie did have some more serious moments but it stayed funny throughout the whole thing.

Another young American is moving in Europe U.S. midfielder Benny Feilhaber got a work permit to play for Derby County in the English Premier League as reported by Espn.com. I like the move for him he was already "playing" with Hamburg in Bundesliga but he will get a chance to potentially get a lot of playing time in the EPL now even if it is only for a year with Derby likely going back down.

Yeah if Boston is going to be good they are now good for 3 years tops before the guys start breaking down and along with that they have absolutely no depth. They may be good during the regular season but I just dont see them succeding in the playoffs. If KG goes down for a length of time this season I could easily see Boston being a lottery team.

Even thought the Indians have been having some trouble beating the Red Sox I hope the teams meet in the Playoffs because the last two games were pretty awesome and most of the games between one another have been close. That being said not even I thought Carmona was going to turn out as good as he has so far this year and with C.C. going before Carmona lately that has been almost guarenteeing two wins.
