The reason why Halo 2 was on the list, according to them, because "It had an 'revolutionary' online system." Which I guess is a whole lot better then if they said that the gameplay was "revolutionary." Everquest or Ultima probably should replace WoW, just because the reasons they gave for WoW, Everquest and Ultima did first. (Stuff about making a succesful MMO etc.) And although I don't care for the game too much, StarCraft probably should be up there somewhere.

In the mag, each game they give a brief reason for, like they say E.T is on the list, because it was the first ever movie licenced game, and thus setting the "curse" of every game based on a movie is horrible. I remember, there was some WCW game for the N64 that forced you to use the D-Pad, as the control stick was for taunting or something, and I remember at the time, I thought it was shit because that was pretty much the only game where you controled soley with the D-Pad.

I actually bought Pressure (just that song) on iTunes after hearing it used on that Blitz game. It was one of the songs on that game that I could actually stand

GamePro gave it a 2.5 out of 5. They said basically what oldskool said, that kicking is really easy, and that by picking a few key plays you can rock. As a fan of the AFL though, I'll still give it a rent.

I am loving this show. The newest one here was awesome. I won't give away any spoilers but when the one about a Hot Dog stand comes up, watch that one.

Since I'm too lazy to look it up, I heard on some news show this morning that in order to play old XBox games, you need to buy an emulator. Is this true? Or is this just newspeople not knowing what they are talking about?

Not to mention that most games for the 360 are $60...

When I was in NYC, I picked up the Harmful If Swallowed CD/DVD set for $5 at a street fair. I didn't listen to the CD yet but I did watch all the stuff on the DVDs and it was great. His Comedy Central Presents was better than the other stuff but it was still all good. I have to try that fast food prank joke, where you point up at the menu at something that doesn't exist.

I finally have gotten better at fielding, however, I still suck at batting I tried playing yesturday, but there were no games going. BTW, I'm usually 3B, 2B or RF.

Yeah, if you didn't know, Ultimate Baseball Online has been in beta for a while now. (And I just found out today ) UBO is an online baseball game, but it's not Team Vs. Team. You make a person, and you are ONLY that person. I.E you only bat when you come up. You only field your position etc. etc. Everything is a bit hard at first (I'm still getting used to it, so I suck), but I'm sure as soon as you get used to it it's pretty fun. I have a Right Fielder named Yitzy. My batting average is a whopping .000, but I did manage to Sac Bunt an RBI (don't ask how that happened). http://www.ultimatebaseballonline.com/

Actually, EA already made an "NHL Street" type of game for the PS1. Rock the Rink. It has all the special shots and it even has a "Gamebreaker" type thing, where after you get the meter up, for a limited time, all of your players are faster, hit harder, shoot better etc. etc. It's a pretty fun game. The only thing though, is that you don't start off with licenced teams, you have to unlock them (or use a cheat and get them ).

It's indeed a damn fun game. It'll definitely be the sleeper hit of the year for sure. It's got this cool-ass Tim Burton feel to it, and is a damn good platformer which will be overlooked.
