  1. I think it's anywhere. When wandering around through caves I've definitely come across stuff that I left in a pile because I was over-encumbered and never came back to pick up.
  2. I think you can actually just dump stuff on the floor and it'll never be removed. Not the best for organising your stuff, but if you're in a pinch you're better off leaving stuff on the floor rather than in a random chest.
  3. Argh, didn't realise this match was on TV. Fuck STV for thinking that Scottish people are more interested in repeats of Dancing on Ice than FA Cup football. And later on a repeat of Inspector Morse instead of the Man United/Fulham game!
  4. Ivanovic has definitely played at least one game at left back this season, IIRC. Bosingwa might even have done that as well, he seems to have a decent left foot. Barring both of those, Mancienne would probably fill in. He's pacey and has definitely played right back. In fact, even Belletti could possibly fill in at left back. He's got an alright left foot as well.
  5. If we don't get it I'd like it to be City. European football might aid their ridiculous splurge in the summer and that will entertain me.
  6. You and he should come on a double date with me and Mark Watson.
  7. My ex girlfriend got Dave Gorman's phone number. While we were still going out. And I was there. But so was Mark Watson, so it was OK.
  8. Yeah, with Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United and Everton still in the cup at the quarter final stage there's a good chance that 7th place will get a European spot.
  9. Not that it will happen for this, but imagine Ashley Cole actually going to prison. He'd be violated in every way imaginable.
  10. The thread for The Wrestler says to put no discussion in there and why would I post about my rating in the film thread?
  11. Resting from one game doesn't suddenly stop you from being tired, though. MON's kept as close to his first choice line up as he could for most of the season, a blip was bound to happen and if it's away to City that's not really a surprise. All things being equal fitness-wise it would still be competitive and City have been in good form recently.
  12. Nah, I don't think so. The squad's getting tired and if you were to design a game more challenging to a tired out team Man City away might be it. Not such a big fixture that selections for the two weeks prior are based around peaking for it and Man City have a fearsome home record based on the kind of fast breaks that tired players are least able to handle.
  13. Why do Newcastle fans think Steve Harper is so amazing? I've only ever seen him play poorly and I've rarely met a gerodie who didn't think he was at least a passable replacement for Given. Can he really be that good if he's been sitting on the bench for 15 years?
  14. Yeah, if anything Milner had a shaky first month or so and then he's been really impressive since. Maybe a couple of shaky games recentyl, but the whole team's not been performing as well.
  15. I gave The Wrestler its lowest score but I wasn't the one person who said to avoid it. Wassupwitdat?
  16. Yeah, donating to churches, giving clean water to wasteland hobos and giving scrap to that guy in Megaton are all ways of getting unlimited karma.
  17. Cesar was snooping around an old DHARMA station looking at files and seemingly not finding what he was looking for. He noticed a loaded shotgun hidden in an air vent and put it in his bag. The woman (the one who looks a bit like Michelle Rodriguez that spoke to Locke on the beach) came in and asked if he'd found anything. He said he hadn't but she asked what he'd just put in his bag. He took out a flashlight and threw it over to her. I think that was everything.
  18. For the position you're talking about, Passing 15:9 is pretty much the end of the discussion. The coaches have very little way of distinguishing different types of player in the same position, which is particularly noticeable in central midfield and striker. For instance, I play with a 5-3-2 with 3 players in the MC position. One is basically a DM (but not in that position) one makes forward runs and one is a box-to-box midfielder. The coaches don't recognise this at all, they just compare all the players' stats to a stock MC template. So, depending on the squad I have they'll sometimes have 3 pretty attacking players in there with no DM-type or 3 defensive midfielders and no-one with any creativity. I guess that if you briefly switched to a tactic with an AMC they'd recommend Valsson immediately. Saying that, Krakmo looks shit in every department so it might just be because you have crap coaches.
  19. I wonder who needs him though. He's the last player Barcelona need with Iniesta and Xavi. Real have Higuain, van der Vaart, Guti, Sneijder and a whole load of other central midfielders like the two Diarras, Gago and de la Red. There's a good chance they're spending their cash on Ronaldo or Tevez this year as well. Valencia are on the verge of bankruptcy and I can't see Atletico stumping up £18m on Alonso when they've got good talent in the midfield and spent £12m on Raul Garcia a year ago. He doesn't seem like a Mourinho player (like Muntari, for example) and they have Cambiasso, but I can definitely see him going to Juventus. Nedved's retiring this summer and they seemed to be interested last year before they signed Poulsen. Milan won't sign him because he's too young
  20. They didn't have to play well, they were playing a bunch of kids. If a better team had been fielded they would have played better. They were winning because of away goals before the game even started, they must have been laughing when they saw the team sheet.
  21. But your first team (or as close to it as you could have fielded) didn't win. At home. When CSKA had played one competitive match in 3 months. Friedel is the only player who would have significantly improved that team. Why do you think the result would have been different when you have to travel 2000 miles to play in the freezing cold 4 days after playing Chelsea?
  22. Yeah, but in their very first match they got a draw at Villa Park against what was almost the best team they could put out. Yes, Friedel didn't play but Young, Agbonlahor, Carew, Barry, Petrov, Luke Young and Davies did. Considering that, as you say, they haven't played much competitive football and they had to travel thousands of miles for the match, they showed they were a good team there. I can't see how with more practice, playing at home in their own conditions with no travel and against a team with very little European experience they would have done any worse. Russian clubs are used to playing these European fixtures at the beginning of the season and travelling thousands of miles to play in the freezing cold is exactly where lack of experience will hurt even a good team like Villa.
  23. Yeah, Villa have a very good chance of making it into the Champions League next season and their squad is pretty thin. Not only in terms of numbers, but the quality beyond the first XI gets rapidly worse. Saying that, I think that even if they'd put out their first choice team CSKA would have had a good chance of winning. They've got an excellent team with far, far more European experience than Villa.
  24. Surely it's the reverse? They're asking him to commit to 9 films and presumably a decent amount of his time over the next 5-10 years. They have the incentive to keep Nick Fury as a continuous presence through their films and they have to pay for the privilege. It's not like he needs them more than they need him, so the long-term factor means they have to pay up.
