Getting a PS5 this weekend, so looking forward to being even more behind the curve during WL because I have been awful with this new patch.

If I'm being honest you're right in a lot of ways, I guess the only thing he has going for him is he's the undefeated Light Heavyweight champ and therefore is entitled to a title shot a weight class above. I don't understand why people think he's not deserving, especially based on stuff outside the cage when it comes to MMA.

He was apparently offered $8M to fight Bones which is a joke considering how much money that fight would make. Francis has got all the cards up his sleeves, and it's kind of fantastic. Would love to see him tour PFL, Rizin, ONE and do a bit of wrecking before coming back to the UFC. I was worried they were going to go with Jones / Miocic, because at least Jones deserves a heavyweight title shot, while Miocic hasn't fought in 2 years, lost his last fight and does nothing but boring rematches and title fights when he hasn't even fought anyone in the current top 15, if memory serves me right.

Really? I was having the opposite effect, thought all the meta shots had been nerfed along with the keepers being super strong in one-on-one situations compared to previously. Couldn't score a goal to save my life.

I stored up to like 40 then I can't remember what I did, but somehow not having access to my console over the weekend and being shit during WL when I came back on Sunday night led me to now only have 9 remaining. I at least have a healthy coin balance for once, but it's still not even possible to buy on TOTY player, not that I was going to. Still, somehow just not feeling FIFA the past week or so, getting trounced in WL probably led to this the past couple of days. On top of that, I still have the 89 squad Jairzinho to complete and he's probably going to be obsolete in a couple of weeks.

Can't fucking wait for these World Cup players to be out of my team. I didn't even complete level 10, somehow I'm 8 players short. Only regret is now I won't be able to use Messi who's been a blast. Jairzinho is going to be a beautiful replacement at RW, though.

Getting high rated fodder is almost meaningless at this point, market is so dead right now. And yet I can't seem to pack any useful promo cards. I bet if I started using FIFA points I would, though.

I did 84x60, 82x20, 84x20 and plan to do Coman since Upamacano is pretty good and he matches up well with him, Pavard and Neuer. My FUT Champs team has basically turned from Bayern Munich and Barcelona to Bayern Munich and Argentina.

Jesus, that's nice. All I got were the useless ones, and Kehrer, who is somehow still more playable than my WC Hero Upgrade in Kohler. That Kohler reveal almost made me die, the flag popping had me so excited initially. Market and FUT in general is dead this week, though. Just waiting on TOTT before saving up everything for TOTY hopefully.

I've played on both gens and definitely feel it's harder on new gen, but I play mostly on a PS4 so maybe it's more familiarity than anything. Also, my god I'm so annoyed at last night's games because I bet on the wrong showdown card. Now I only have a fancy 86 rated card that isn't as good as the rest. Definitely still going to try Acuna, though. If Argentina win he might never leave my team.

Can't wait for these Swaps to be done. Probably not going to get Viera because I won't know how to utilize him correctly, Probably going to be 84x60, maybe a WC Icon player pick as well. If not I might just get Fabinho and Coman, maybe?

Ooh that's painful. I'm probably just saving up to get 3x20x84, I don't really fancy having Viera, but I might switch to Fabinho if I'm tempted.

Morgan Freeman is terrible at lip-syncing.

I've been counting Dariush out every time he gets matched up (and eventually the fight falls out). I honestly thought there was no way he'd survive Gamrot, and he handled him. Legit think he's the only one at 155 that can give Islam some problems.

The Diamond prevailing is always the highlight of the year. Would really hate for him to be fed to Dariush, though. That guy deserves a title shot 100% before July, hopefully Volk or Islam gives it to him.

Don't care what anyone else says, I absolutely loved it, was heartbroken and moved by everything, and absolutely into every bit of this movie. Maybe just a smudge behind the first one, but this one grew leaps and bounds beyond the single focused view of T'Challa to exploring much much more in Wakanda, IMO. Even the white people parts made sense to me, even if to just slow down the pace a little.

Nice to see Ace in the Hole making the list, I always feel like it’s not listed in the same lists as Double Indemnity, Some Like It Hot, Sunset Boulevard, the Apartment and the Lost Weekend. Wilder is also the director of the Seven Year Itch, where the famous Marilyn Monroe photo comes from.

I will always highly recommend any other Billy Wilder movies. Double Indemnity is probably my favorite and I watch Stalag 17 every year as part of my Christmas watch. Also good are The Lost Weekend, the Apartment and a few others people never seem to cite I guess because his work is just so good and numerous, like Ace in the Hole and Witness for the Prosecution. He's the director with my favorite body of work. I haven't even listed any of his comedy films (I guess the Apartment and Stalag 17 are sort of comedies in bits).
