  1. Second one was a stone wall pen for me. Don't think Tierney has been that bad for once other than that decision but they have VAR on that one to go hey mate. Might wanna recheck that....
  2. That 3rd goal had a brilliant ball from Virg and then that cross by Bradley.
  3. Defo gonna run it into the ground now! I still long for the days of Connor Randall back at right back.
  4. CR84!!!!! Great goal that. He's been bloody outstanding these recent few games
  5. Routine win that really. Norwich scored from a corner and scored a screamer but really we should have won by more. Bradley and McConnell both played really well and nice to get minutes for Trent/Szoboszlai/Robbo. Do have to say though, the draw for the next round is really shit. ITV/BBC will be hoping Wrexham win tomorrow because a Wrexham/Newcastle game is probably the one they'll build the round on
  6. You pretty much mentioned it earlier on but the sentiment really is its impossible boots to fill. Very much akin to Fergie leaving United except Jurgen will leave us in a good place with a young squad with some experienced heads. There's a lot of good managers in football but it doesn't feel like there's a load of "world class" ones. I think an Alonso or a De Zherbi probably match in a sense in terms of the brand of play and I think for a lot of managers bar a handful, it would probably be their biggest job.
  7. Should let Klopp suplex Paul Tierney in the centre circle on the final game of the season. Be the only fitting way for it to end
  8. Gutted. Absolutely gutted. He fit the club and the city itself so much. His values were very much that of the people here and he's given me some absolutely fantastic memories. Three Champions League finals and a 6th trophy, the battle with City in two seperate title challenges, several cups and importantly the league title. There's a weird tone in the video. Not to speculate but it feels potentially a health related matter? 'I'm running out of energy.... I will have to announce it at some point' is a quote to take note of Absolutely adore the guy. Best manager of my lifetime for Liverpool and thank him for the amazing times. Hopefully we finish this season on a high
  9. I need a moan. So I've been a member with the club for over a decade and they've changed it so you register interest for the Prem games. They do it normally so if you've been 12+/4+/everyone else in terms of first priority. Last time I got close to 12 prem games was 11 the season we had Benteke up front under Klopp so you can imagine clubs more popular and been doing well more people register. I only get the cup games because I've been going to them for years and watched some turgid campagins in the Europa League and that one Champions League one inder Brendan. Got the results for the second half of the season. So with the already limited amount of seats available to members, the below are the results. Over 40,000 in the ballot waiting list for a game against friggin Burnley. 30 quid a year to enter a raffle. Think Wolves couldn't register for with it being the final game.
  10. AFCON always delivers with either outrageous goals or daft football moments
  11. Open to the move or told to move so we don't breach FFP and so we can sign a centre mid?
  12. Weirdest thing about Toney was the first interview he did start of the week saying how Brentford supported him. Next interview he gave was "Yeah I wanna move to a bigger club." Like I get Brentford's position but it must be a bit of a kick in the teeth to stick by him after he's been banned, they've really missed him and then his first proper week back its them interviews
  13. Henderson has solved homophobia and sexism in Saudi in record time Now his next mission: drug tourism in the dam
  14. I can. They're all incompetent and don't know what they're doing. Jobs for the lads, blindly sticking up for their mates and all that.
  15. Funny that. Considering Shearer kept making out we should have conceded about 10 goals even though Alisson hardly broke a sweat. Only real ones was Odegaard smacking the bar and the Reiss Nelson one in 2 minutes. This isn't me thinking Arsenal on paper shouldn't have won that btw. They did everything but score. Just Shearer on commentary was very tedious
  16. Which divvy gave the okay to these kit choices
  17. Sunderland apologise for decorating bar with Newcastle United signage before FA Cup tie - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67887975 That's so tinpot of Sunderland to basically roll out the red carpet for your fierce rivals
  18. It was a pen and yet a really dumb decision by Jota. Stressful that, should have been a cricket score but some iffy finishes at times / poor final ball / just a bit of luck not going our way at times. Dubravka made some great saves and some were just straight at him. Anthony Taylor can get in the bin. No idea how Joelinton didn't get booked in the first half.
  19. Least we don't have the stench of being top at Christmas attached to us for the rest of the season now. Good set of results over the last two days considering no one's really gone on about us this season compared to other teams
  20. Are Chelsea a bad good team or a good bad team? It's hard to tell anymore
  21. Arsenal currently leading the fight to be top at Christmas and lose the league to City
  22. Bar conceding that was a near perfect performance. The young lads in Elliott, Jones and Quansah were brilliant. Gomez had a great game playing every defensice position. Gakpo and Salah getting goals will help and Nunez unlucky not to. We've been winning and not playing well and it resulted in what happened against the mancs so a great performance like that will be a boost for the players, Jurgen and the crowd. Need to bring that momentum to the game against Arsenal as they won't want this team showing up.
  23. Without Gerrard you wouldn't be where you are. Laid the foundarions. So ungrateful...
