  1. Crystal Palace 0 vs. 0 Everton (Sat 3pm) Bournemouth 0 vs. 2 Newcastle (Sat 5.30pm, Sky) West Ham 2 vs. 0 Nottm Forest (Sun 2pm, Sky) Chelsea 0 vs. 2 Man City (Sun 4.30pm, Sky
  2. Apparently in UEFA it doesn't really matter what phase of play it is (bit silly for me that) but everything else for me doesn't make it a handball. Its hit his chest and has gone towards the armpit area and he's tried to move his arm away from the ball and not to it. The whole VAR handling of it was a bit bizarre cause it looked like they'd done the check, ref was going to give the goal and then they've gone actually have a look at the screen. Toulouse deserved the win either way and we were awful. Had the chance to seal qualification and we didn't take it. Just annoying that there's another controversial decision.
  3. VA FUCKING SHITE (We deserved nothing out of that as we were garbage but that decision at the end is ridiculous. Even if you want to say he's handballed it, its a new phase of play. We gave it away shortly after that, won it back then scored)
  4. Lutons statement they put out about the tragedy chanting is so laughably poor and whataboutery. "May have taken part without knowledge that the chant is in relation to Hillsborough and Heysel tragedies". "A small number of supporters." "Chants that may be interpreted" Tinpot club. Just own it and condemn it, it isn't hard.
  5. Getting de ja vu here. Just need Chelsea to concede an own goal and have a perfectly goos goal ruled out...
  6. I mean objectively Udogie's was worse even without any contact
  7. Tackling training is required for these Spurs players. Dirty gits
  8. Bias aside, Luton can get fucked for the tragedy chanting and poverty chanting.
  9. Diaz bailing us out there. Absolutely made up it's him whose scored given what him and his family are going through atm
  10. Been coming that. Bound to happen. Literally felt like one of them you knew it was going to happen the amount we've huffed and puffed to little effect.
  11. If only Aspas hit the corner against Chelsea in 13/14 with the same amount of force as the VAR screen
  12. Saudi VARabia more like Arsenal were crap but I really don't blame them for feeling like they've been hard done by with that decision. I dont think it went out and I actually think its brilliant by Willock, the offside is really difficult and they've said there wasn't a definitive angle they could use to draw the lines but I think that's a foul given its two hands into the back and its directly led to a goal. Its not like a major tackle or anything but I think you would see that given in a lot of games. I think just having consistency is a big thing. Rashford against Brighton is a good example in terms of did the ball go out or not. Said it before but booking players signalling for yellow cards went out the window after 2 games. It just feels like VAR was meant to help create less controversy and most of the time its creating more. I'm in the camp of just scrap it. I still reiterate the standard of officiating both on field and off field is dreadful. The game as a whole showed that with the lack of control and stuff that there was no intervention over. It feels like the refs dig there heels in and will back each other up even if someone's made a mistake. I'm sure Howard Webb in his little segment with Owen will make out they've been brilliant as always.
  13. The ball being out, I can understand not being given its stupidly fine margins and only way you'd know is if you had like goalline tech The offside for me again is a really fine margin But for me that's a foul. Both hands on his back pushes him. Also Wolves conceded a pen today that wasn't a pen against Newcastle last week. Honestly, officiating in this league both on pitch and VAR is so consistently shite and poor it does make me think how bad is it in the lower leagues
  14. Thought a yellow was fair Thought the ref booking the players for being mouthy gobshites was fair too
  15. Burnley 1 vs. 1 Crystal Palace (Sat 3pm) Sheff Utd 0 vs. 2 Wolves (Sat 3pm) Newcastle 1 vs. 1 Arsenal (Sat 5.30pm, Sky) Nottm Forest 0 vs 3 Aston Villa (Sun 2pm, Sky)
  16. West Ham at home sandwiched between games against Man Utd and Arsenal (both at home) isn't ideal. Be a tough game that. Glad Chelsea/Newcastle got each other. Was kinda hoping for Everton at home but hopefully both teams get the final.
  17. Luis Diaz's parents were kidnapped last night. Mothers meant to have been freed but his father is still held captive
  18. I said to Heather, there's one round in this but either way Ngannou has made everyone look an idiot. He bet on himself, he's been paid a lot of money when Dana wouldn't and made his biggest career payday like tenfold to his biggest UFC payday and he lost a split decision to one of the best modern day heavyweight boxers. The 96-93 scorecard was ridiculous.
  19. I've only seen a clip from Sky on twitter and the VAR angle they showed was rubbish but it looked like Hwang pulls his leg and stops the kicking action from that one but I'd need to see another angle Edit: seen a clip from Reddit. I don't think its clear cut penalty nor its a mistake in being given either. Did the ref get sent to the monitor as it feels like one of them have a look and then dedide
  20. Everton looked better with 10 and defended really well. Really smart changes by Dyche Konate should have gone. Very cynical challenge and got away with one there. Salah getting MOTM was funny cause other than scoring he was shite. Keane, I have no idea what he was doing. No need to have your arm out like that. Basically gave us a gift when we looked like doing nothing.
  21. Tonali has apparently admitted to betting on Milan to win
  22. Believe the kickoff change is more to do with Manchester police (nobheads from both sides in recent years but City don't exactly help try to cooldown the ill will) rather than broadcasting rights as I think we were due to be on Sky regardless. Thursday/Sunday I don't buy into being a thing. Its more if you're travelling away to eastern european countries. Also top of the victimisation chart, you'll never sing that!
  23. There's something about tackles going down the back of someone's leg that in my head feels worse. I don't know if it's down to injuries I've had playing football but just feels worse to me. The thing that's sticks out is the fact you've got Oliver saying he doesn't want to ruin the game by sending of a City player and the week before is reffing in the UAE. Even if there is nothing there whatsoever its something that can raise doubt. Its something they need to come out and address and put a protocol in place. Its like works having gift policies and having to declare items they may have received
