  1. I was re-watching "Grave," episode 402 of The Shield, last night and it showed Matthew, Vic's son, in a quick shot. I didn't notice it then, but I did now. It's a different kid playing him. Jack Weber is his name. I hate when they re-cast people in shows (or even take them out of the show completely and just go on to mention they never exisited like they did in Family Matters or Grounded for Life). This is annoying when they do this.
  2. You're a smart man. Have Tru Calling, Point Pleasant, and North Shore all been cancelled? ←
  3. What's weird is that Tru Calling, a show that only she seemed to be a fan of, is now going to have the six season two episodes air in the failed North Shore/Point Pleasant spot following the O.C. Tru Calling had a better audience last year (4.55 million viewers) compared to the 4.05 million viewers for what North Shore and Point Pleasant were getting. Why would they air this show if she is leaving? No one else but her wanted the show. Not that I care as I never watched it, but seems odd that they would air a show that is already cancelled.
  4. Yeah, I agree that Shinedown is really good at doing acoustic music. "Simple Man" and "45" are two very good acoustic songs from the Leave A Whisper cd (bonus track one, as the normal one doesn't feature the acoustic version of "45"). My local radio station, WAAF, had them do a few acoustic songs. Those two, plus "Fly From The Inside" and "Burning Bright." I thought they did a good job with those. I could see each and everyone of their songs turning out just as good, if not better, with the acoustic sound to it. But as for Breaking Benjamin, I have several songs of theirs in acoustic. I think they sound bad, personally, and I am a huge fan of them. "So Cold," "Home," "Polyamorus" and others just didn't sound quite as good as they would with the regular sound. But I haven't heard Three Days Grace or Crossfade do acoustic, yet.
  5. That was a pretty good episode. The line about "killed or be killed" by that dog by Mackey with Monica Rowlings saying that the dog was going to shoot someone was pretty good. I really liked how Dutch and Wyms are on the shitlist of the DA. Dutch is the kind of guy who most certainly is not going to stick around and have his record look like shit because of Wyms. I see him ditching her real soon. He can't go very long without getting credited with a win, that's for sure. Ronnie sticking by with Vic was pretty cool. At least they are keeping Ronnie around. So the Strike Team wasn't completely gone. Two out of the four was better than all four in different areas. The Strike Team's room being changed into a tape library for the AVG sting operation looks so strange. Vic getting stuck watching videos all day long must have pissed this guy off. And that was shown when he beat the shit out of that guy due to him beating the shit out of his own son. Great scene. I hope Lem is going to be getting back in the Barn soon. He needs to be working with them. I can see Rowlings offering him a spot in this new street team she is forming. But I am not sure how Vic or Ronnie will take that. But I doubt they will not at least try and add him to the group. The ending with Shane and Vic was a good confrontation. This storyline is going to be awesome to watch unfold. I only hope they don't just forget about Tavon. I'd like to see if they include what Tavon has been up to. I doubt he is working, but at least show that Lem and Tavon have kept in contact as they were close friends. Overall, a very good start to season four. And just for the hell of it, Over There looks like a interesting series. FX has The Shield, Nip/Tuck, and Rescue Me which are all awesome. Now they have Thief and Over There. Both look like they will fit right in. I am going to be watching both of those. But Over There, from those previews (especially the one where the female soldier is listening to headphones and the male soldier is reading and then a bomb comes flying in. That looked really good). So, thoughts on epsiode #401, The Cure?
  6. Alright, so the day has finally come that the first episode of season four of The Shield will air tonight. I am really excited that it is returning and I have been waiting for this day since seaosn three ended last year. I have been re-watching my DVDs of season one, two, and three since then. I just got through re-watching season three. I read that a lot of people didn't really enjoy season three on various message boards. I am not sure why as I loved it, but this is my favorite show and I have only been bored with one episode out of the 41 that have already aired (that one was episode #209, Co-Pilot, I just thought it was pointless to go back when we didn't really need it). Anyway, please keep this spoiler free (just talk about the current episode when it airs and nothing more. If you must use spoilers, at least use the spoiler tags. Use the following to mark spoilers. That will give you this:
  7. Do you think you could make some for the following wrestlers? Chris Jericho Hurricane (and one as Shane Helms, if that's alright with you) Shawn Michaels William Regal And I know this is a WWE picture thread, but do you think you could do me a favor and make good ones of Chris Harris, James Storm, and Michael Shane? Thanks.

Michelle returning was great, but am I the only one who hates that every season we see two or three changes to the head of CTU? It's kind of annoying. But Michelle is awesome and is probably the hottest one to ever hit that show, so that's great. Edgar is great. "I was only thinking out loud. You don't need to be so hostile." I believe that is what he said. The guy is one of the best characters on the show, in my opinion. It should be interesting to see how they have Tony and Michelle work together. I just hope they don't have them fall back in love with each other. That'd be so dumb. I doubt it'll happen, which is good.
  9. Does it still have that incredibly annoying vision line up thing from the the first one? I hated that feature as it was just annoying. It turned me off the game big time and couldn't ever get into it because of it.
  10. Has anyone seen the Don Frye vs. Yoshihiro Takayama fight? I just saw a six minute clip of it and it looked brutal. They kept punching each other and after a few punches, Takayama's face looked bad. But he kept going and punching some more until Frye got him down and just pounded on his face until it stopped. I'd love to see the full fight as thsoe six minutes were awesome. Edit: I also just saw Chris Leben vs. Mike Swick. The fight started out kind of slow. A couple of foot stomps by each of them and Swick took Leben down with a very quick take down. They kept it on the ground for a minute or so and Swick got up first followed by Leben. Then came the left punch by Leben to Swick that looked like it was the end. He followed it up by three more strikes to the head and then locked in the rear naked choke. I am not sure how Swick was able to continue after that knock down and punches/choke, but he managed to turn out of it and actually land a couple punches of his own. But the bell rang and it showed he was still out of it as he didn't know where his corner even was. The second round came with Swick coming out swinging and landing some good punches of his own, but that left punch again took Swick out to end the fight. I thought it was a good fight. I think a rematch would be awesome and I do hope it comes at the UFC show if Swick doesn't earn himself the contract (or Leben if he is actually back for good).

    Perfect Albums

Shinedown's Leave A Whisper is certainly a perfect album in my opinion. I have no clue why I forgot to post this in my original post. But after listening to it again, I must say it is awesome. Not a bad song. From "Fly From The Inside" all the way through "45 (Acoustic Version)" their isn't a single bad song on it. All 15 songs are awesome. "Lost in the Crowd," "Better Version," and "Burning Bright" are my favorite songs on the CD, but I love them all, really. Is anyone else a fan of this CD and this band?
  13. The Godfather: Part III - ** 1/4 Boring, nothing exciting, waste of time it seemed.
  14. I was hoping they would have kept them on the same beach. It was something different, and after ten seasosn of this, they needed something slightly different from the same old reused concepts they have going on. It could have made for a unique Survivor, but they killed that in quick fashion.
