  1. Can I get this picture of Mike Knox modified to have face paint like Road Warrior Hawk? I wanna do an angle with Mike Knox and Animal as the new Road Warriors. Thanks, if anyone's able to pull this off.
  2. The in-game graphics look basically the same (albeit less detailed), though. Even the promotional renders of Austin normally look awful. They're there. Well, sort of. They're juuuuuuuuust different enough to avoid lawsuits from the Pepsi/GI Joe people. But they're a big improvement over the usual blank spot in his sleeves we see every year.
  3. THQ put up posters for the first eight confirmed superstars earlier: Everyone looks great. I'm glad they've finally done something with CM Punk's Pepsi/Cobra tattoos and I'm really, really, really digging that Stone Cold Steve Austin model. Every year he's in as a legend and ever year he doesn't look right at all. This year's Austin looks about a million times better than last year's.
  4. It's nice to see the announce tables feature a bit more prominently. Here's to hoping you can actually use them properly this year...
  5. Let me know if you make any serious progress on cleaning it up. I tend to do a lot of work in a short burst and then give up completely on things like this. I'll probably end up banging out like the first 50 or so and then get bored and stop.
  6. Another fairly big issue I'm noticing is the commentary. There are some problems with capitalization in the variables. Like, "Him"s that should be "him"s and the like. I'm a bit bored tonight so I think I may work my way through it all and fix the various issues. It'd be great to finally have some angles for 2010 that are actually usable.
  7. I up-converted them for you. Here ya go, sir. That said, they don't have Auto Name entries because TEW2005 didn't have Auto Name for angles . It'd be awesome if someone could update these to fix that and any other quirks that may or may not be there. As-is it's still probably the best angle pack available for 2010 because it's not stupidly bloated with sixteen copies of every angle like all the others.
  8. The creature designs -- with a few obvious exceptions -- definitely get weaker and weaker, but the games themselves do just the opposite. They take some getting used to but the newer generation titles are fantastic.
  9. Been dying for a copy of Terraria. What do I have to do?

Chris! Jay! Rick! O! I really hope they expand the selection of names next year.

You should be able to? Just swap out one of his current finishers for it.

Booker T is literally yellow in WWE '12. He's really the only person I've seen that looks, like, horrible.

You mash buttons in an effort to fill the meter. Target specific body parts and you'll fill it more quickly. When it's full, there's a submission. It's a good idea but I find it to be almost game-breaking in its easiness, compared to the difficulty of scoring a pinfall victory. You can tap an AI-controlled opponent out in a fraction of the time it takes to actually pin them.

Is there no way to add titles or at least a specific brand to the Superstars show in WWE Universe? If not, what's the point in even having the ability to customize the shows? I was hoping to maybe have a TNA or WCW show or something on Thursdays and keep Raw and Smackdown as is.

Question about Sheamus' portion of Road To WrestleMania:

I like it so far, but I'm way more interested in what it will look like next year after they've added some more polish. Right now I just reeeeally hope you can edit what taunts and in-ring footage are used, because some of the ones in those templates look pretty awful. Either way, I've been hoping for a feature like that for years now and I'm so glad to see that it made the cut. I do hope that some day they decide to render the main roster's entrance videos with in-game models, so that it's hard to tell the difference between regular entrance videos and custom ones. That would be one of the last things they could really do to give the presentation more immersion than it already has. And Universal, I have Amazon Prime so my case may not be typical, but Amazon says I'll get my copy a week from tomorrow--precisely one week after release date.

The game is $47 on Amazon until Black Friday. If you pre-order you also get $10 of free Amazon credit, so it's honestly more like $37. Just saying, if anybody's on the fence. There's an issue with stock though, so you won't get it until a few days after release. I can wait a few days to save a few bucks, myself.

You can. I bought it sometime in January.

Essentially, buying Fan Axxess is like pre-ordering all of the DLC before it comes out--but at a discounted price, and with the guarantee that any unplanned DLC that might come to fruition in the future will also be covered. Last year's version also automatically unlocked all of the game's unlockables and included a tool to edit the stats of everyone on the roster. I assume this year it's the same way. If you definitely want all of the DLC, yeah, it's worth it. And that Randy Savage video is perfect. He looks better than most of the regular roster. I'm so excited for this.
  20. F changes perspective. You, sir, are wonderful. Thanks.
  21. How do I enable third person perspective on PC? A friend of mine told me it was possible but he plays console so the control scheme is different. I love the idea of Skyrim but I can't stand first person perspective. It makes my head hurt.
  22. I love how Steam just refuses to let me change my password. Thanks, guys.
  23. I've spent the last decade wishing Rockstar would do a Spider-Man game. I've wanted it since the very first time I spent a few minutes walking around Liberty City. I know the sandbox Spider-Man game was attempted with (relative) success by someone else in Ultimate Spider-Man, but the main campaign of that game lasts about six minutes and the city itself reeeeeally lacks the attention to detail that Rockstar is so known for. That said, it's the only Spider-Man game I've ever played that actually feels like a Spider-Man game, so it's not a total bust.
